Hey there everybody.
I was glad to hear everyone liked our CBS special this past weekend. I've been getting things in order here at the ranch before I head out to Las Vegas later this week.
I'll hold back some of my thoughts in hopes that you'll log onto the site and listen to my "Final Word" podcast that I'll be recording every day.
Take care, and I'll post my first Podcast from the Finals on Friday.
I am real disappointed on the seating in Dallas for
Feb.20ths event, way too pricey!!!
hope this helped
The PBR has grown so much due to the hard work of a good number of people and I just want to say thanks and I appreciate your hard work.
I would like you to read these posts and others in the fans daily blogs. I would appreciate it if you would take notice here...I am a long time fan, not only of you, but bull riding.
3 Hours agoNo one is disputing the caliber of riders who have made it here to the world finals. They would not be here if they were not the best in the world. To address the media and commentators reporting from Las Vegas excessively, which I have observed here in the blogs proves that the many are making observations that do not put this sport in a good light, that we as PBR fans are not accustom to seeing this kind of behavior out there so blatanly form the commentators. This is an "individualized" sport. To be fair, to be objective, to maintain perspective is imparative to all the riders as well as the fans. No one needs to create excitement, the excitement is already here! It is not trashing riders, it is bringing attention to the fact that the general public is not pleased with the bias reporting and would like to see the media, "the cowboys" maintain the spirit of what we have become to expect in giving recognition and credit due to all the riders individually. Those who have been loving bull riding, rodeo, for most of our lives have come to expect far better then we have seen not only here in Las Vegas but for most of this season. We do not want the sport to be diminshed to "a joke," we would like the comments to be impartial, to be fair, It is NOT the job of the media to turn this cl!@# "A" event into a circus of dissention. Yes, we all have our favorites and it's nice to see everyone rooting for their favorite riders, their favorite bulls, however, it is important that all the commentators of this event NOT out and out show the favoritism that they have to only one, they of all people should know this is NOT their job, quite the contrary. If they can't step it up and behave as a proffesional in their career, perhaps next season they need to steop down. This season as far as what goes on behind the cameras has been a great dissapointment. Perhaps, next season the PBR can step up their game with programming that is available and dependable to the many and go back to reporting from their cowboy roots and show some cl!@#, real grit and heart! To all the great cowboys who ride, that thrill us every season...thank you so very much, you are the best!
JUST THOUGHT THAT I WOULD DROP YOU A LINE OR TWO AND LET YOU KNOW THAT THIS BULL-RIDING FAN ENJOYED THE FINALS SOOOOO VERY MUCH. I WATCHED ALL 7 NIGHTS. I JUST WISH THAT CHRIS SHIVERS WOULD OF DONE BETTER. (BUT I'M A FAN) AND WILL LOVE HIS RIDING FOREVER.
WOW~~~~HOW ABOUT THAT KODY!!! I'M SOOOO DARN PROUD OF HIM, AND I'M ALSO PROUD OF JB, BUT FOR ANOTHER REASON OTHER THAN WINNING THE EVENT. I'M PROUD OF HIM BECAUSE I THOUGHT THAT ONCE HE GOT TO VEGAS HE WOULD GET ALL COUGHT UP WITH THE HYPE AND GLITZ OF IT ALL THAT HE WOULD GET A LITTLE TOO BIG FOR US (IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN) BUT HE DIDN'T AND THEREFORE I'M PROUD OF HIM. ALSO ENJOYED SEEING YOU AND HEARING YOU IN THE BOOTH. AND WOW~~~NBC REALLY HAD GREAT COVERAGE THIS YEAR. ALL IN ALL~~~IT WAS FUN TO WATCH AND I HOPE AND PRAY THAT EVERY ONE THAT GOT HURT AND A FEW BUMPS AND BRUISES HEAL UP QUICK.
REMEMBER TY,,,,KEEP ON KEEPING ON !!!
