How awesome were the PBR Finals? I know for me it was a pretty amazing, crazy, wonderful experience. I got a gold buckle and a diamond ring. What more could a girl want?  If you weren't there or weren't watching, my boyfriend of over a year, McKennon Wimberly, proposed to me in the middle of the arena during the bull riding. Our relationship started around bull ridings, so I couldn't imagine a better place to move it forward than in the arena, and I was really happy to share it with so many people who have loved and supported us. Also, Rubens Barbosa won the second round on my bull Cowboy Casanova, which got me a new belt buckle.

Besides McKennon popping the question and Cowboy's good out, there were other big highlights of the week for me. Robson Palermo winning the average was so great to see. There isn't a better person around than Robson, and we are so proud for him. I was also really proud of Caleb Sanderson's performance at the Finals. I hope that helped his confidence and he goes into the new year doing the same thing. Bushwacker winning World Champion Bull was great! I really wish Astroid would have been able to show what he can do and made a more exciting race, but still happy for team Bushwacker!

Other than Cowboy, I had five other bulls in Vegas for ABBI competitions. I did alright in a few events, but I was really proud of a bull owned by Kenny Hague I hauled out there named Spook. He ended up winning fourth at the ABBI's maturity event, but could have been placed higher in my opinion.

My main focus from now until January is preparing bulls and purchasing a few new ones for the 2012 season. I feel like the past two years have been all about me learning what it will take to be a serious stock contractor and have prepared me for the next few years. I've been really blessed with my family's support, and also the support and shared knowledge from my peers. I can't wait for this coming year!
