BALTIMORE - Six riders already have two scores here, and almost half the bulls last night were ridden. It's going to be hard for the riders trying to play catch-up tonight.

J.B. Mauney on 250 Black Pearl:
This really is a match made in heaven. Mauney and Black Pearl are two of a kind. Mauney won the short round on him at the 2009 World Finals with a score of 93.75 points, which also cinched the event title. Since then they've met only once, and Mauney was fouled and injured in that attempt.

Dakota Beck on 41/5 Deja Blue Emu:
Beck looked unstoppable last night, and picking this bull says he feels unstoppable as well. Deja Blue Emu is one of the best and most consistent bulls in the PBR, but he is far from being one of the nicest to ride, especially for left-handed riders. In terms of difficulty, he is a short-round-caliber bull, and ranks alongside many of the PBR's best.

Stormy Wing on 227 Betta Believe:
Wing obviously likes this bull, but he's only been ridden once in 16 career attempts.

Ryan Dirteater on 54 Uncle Carl:
We saw this bull early last season, but he has been off the radar since he last appeared at a Touring Pro event last July. He's been ridden seven of nine times at the Built Ford Tough Series level, and only three of 15 times elsewhere.

Mike Lee on +2/7 Red Man:
Red Man threw L.J. Jenkins in Round 1, which was surprising. It would be more surprising if he were to get Lee on the ground, because he has not thrown off a left-handed rider yet. He is one of the more rideable bulls here.

Mauney Black Pearl

In 2009, Black Pearl took J.B. Mauney to 93.75 points and the World Finals event win.

Josh Faircloth on 700 Stacks of Cash:
This is the bull Austin Meier had in Round 1. He's a nice bull with good timing on whom Faircloth should get a score.

Ben Jones on 767 Exotic Justin:
This bull hasn't been seen on tour very often, but he's been around rodeo since early 2009, and has 72 career outs to his credit. He should get ridden most of the time at this level - the best riders ride him 60 percent of the time.

Kody Lostroh on 83 Lightmaker:
This is a very solid bull who has thrown Lostroh before. But, as Dark Shadow discovered last night, it's hard to throw Lostroh off twice.

[Lightmaker] is a very solid bull who has thrown Lostroh before. But, as Dark Shadow discovered last night, it's hard to throw Lostroh off twice.

Cord McCoy on 248 Lil Jefe:
Jefe only has four outs to his credit, and has been ridden twice - Jenkins and Jordan Hupp.

Ty Pozzobon on 641 New Britain 1843:
Pozzobon should get a score here. This is a bull who has quite a bit of experience outside the Built Ford Tough Series, and has been ridden in about half his career outs.

Austin Meier on 515 Superbad:
This is a debut bull. He was out twice at a Touring Pro event in Denver, where Mauney was 89 points on him and Dirteater came down at 7.12 seconds.

Guilherme Marchi on 694 Dark Shadow:
Lostroh was 87 points on Dark Shadow in Round 1, and that was only the second time he's been ridden.

Silvano Alves on S05 Come Back:
Lee tied for second place in Round 1 in this bull's debut. He looked like a bull the riders are going to love, and Alves should handle him easily.
