Dear fans:
What an incredible year, and what an great way for it all to culminate at the 2011 Built Ford Tough World Finals.
Thank you for making this season, and these Finals, among the best ever.
Every single day of the week, you have a hard-working staff here in Pueblo dedicated to you. You have a tireless production crew and a talented television crew always looking to make your experience better. You have talented, caring stock contractors looking after the best bulls in the world for you. You have tremendous athletes who ride every weekend for you.
To those riders, and specifically our World Finals qualifiers: You amaze us every weekend. Thanks.
To our new World Champion Silvano Alves, my warmest congratulations. You are without question the best bull rider on earth, and we're honored to count you as a competitor and friend.
To Robson Palermo, who earned his second World Finals victory, well done. Best of luck on your upcoming surgery, and we look forward to seeing you back in the draw next season.
To Rubens Barbosa, our 2011 Rookie of the Year, we're privileged to have a rider of your caliber on the Built Ford Tough Series.

Detroit's Ford Field will be one of four stadiums to feature the Built Ford Tough Series in 2012.
To Bushwacker, even though you can't quite understand, thanks for telling the world about us. Bushwacker, you might remember, was written about in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, ESPN the Magazine, and others, helping to bring our sport to more and more folks in all walks of life. He also traveled quite a bit this season - certainly more than would be typical - so we're happy he's finally enjoying some well-deserved rest. What a great competitor.
In two short months, our 2012 Built Ford Tough Series gets started in New York, and we hope that with your continued support, it will be the best in our history. We've got a lot in store for next year, from our new website, which launched a couple weeks ago and has been setting new traffic records, to a new television contract (more on that soon) to our four-city Stadium Tour.
Treasured fans, we've only just begun. The PBR is on the verge of a planet-wide breakthrough, and not only do we thank you for that, but the PBR team - every one of us, from riders to contractors to office staff to production crew - want to go on that ride with you.
Thank you again for your tremendous support and passion.
With gratitude and faith in our future,
Jim Haworth
