COLUMBUS, Ohio - Riding all four bulls, including MVP (Roy Carter Bucking Bulls) for 90.50 points in the Built Ford Tough Championship Round, 2004 Professional Bull Riders World Champion Mike Lee finished first at the Cooper Tires Invitational at Nationwide Arena.

It is the 10th career win for Lee, who earned $38,920 for the victory. Lee, whose last win came in 2010 in Des Moines, Iowa, finished with 349.75 points, 1.25 points ahead of Emilio Resende.

NBC will broadcast Round 3 and the Built Ford Tough Championship Round in HD at 4:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, Oct. 14. Veteran broadcaster Craig Hummer will provide the play-by-play. Color commentary will be provided by nine-time World Champion and PBR co-founder Ty Murray. Dirt-level interviews will be handled by Marty Snider.

Columbus is the last of 28 regular season stops in 23 states on the 2012 BFTS schedule, which opened in January with capacity crowds at Madison Square Garden in New York. Next up for the world's best bull riders and bulls is the PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals in Las Vegas on Oct. 24-28. The World Finals are where the PBR World Champion will be crowned and awarded the coveted championship buckle and a $1 million bonus. The richest bull riding event on the planet, the World Finals has a total purse of over $2 million.

Resende, who was the leader after Round 3, had a chance to win, but scored only 87 points on Sucker Punch (Jeff Robinson Bucking Bulls) on the final ride of the night. Resende was given a re-ride following a subpar performance by Cooper's Town (Jeff Robinson Bucking Bulls).

J.B. Mauney finished third with 266.75 points, while Cody Nance finished fourth with 256.25 points, and Valdiron de Oliveira was fifth with 255.75 points. Mauney won the championship round with 93.25 points on Smackdown (Dakota Rodeo/Chad Berger/Clay Struve/Julie Rosen).

Defending PBR World Champion Silvano Alves tied for 12th place in Columbus, and remains the top-ranked rider in the world. Alves, who is looking to become the first back-to-back champion in PBR history, leads Oliveira by 505 points in the Built Ford Tough Series standings. L.J. Jenkins finished 11th in Columbus, and is in third place in the season standings with 9,408.50 points, 640.25 points behind Oliveira. 2008 World Champion Guilherme Marchi is in fourth place with 9,022.25 points, and Mauney is in fifth place with 8,986.25 points.

Lightmaker.com's Rango (Jeff Robinson Bucking Bulls) won the Pabst Blue Ribbon Bull Award for being the high-marked bull of the event. Rango earned 46.50 out of a possible 50 points when he bucked off Nance in 5.31 seconds in the championship round. It is the third time he has been the high-marked bull of an event.

The 28 regular season events produced 20 different winners. Mauney has the most wins with four, while Alves, Marchi, Austin Meier, Robson Palermo, and Fabiano Vieira have two wins apiece. Mauney posted three of his four wins in the first 12 events before breaking his hand.

The BFTS is televised every week on CBS, CBS Sports Network, NBC, NBC Sports Network, and YouTube. BFTS telecasts are produced for the PBR under a multi-year agreement with David Neal Productions, a Los Angeles-based production company led by 34-time Emmy® Award winner and Peabody Award winner David Neal, who serves as executive producer.
