PUEBLO, Colo. - The Professional Bull Riders Touring Pro Division continues this weekend with events in Arizona, Louisiana, and Mexico.

The TPD returns to the Baton Rouge River Center in Baton Rouge, La., on Friday and Saturday for the Chris Shivers Invitational. The event is hosted by Louisiana native Chris Shivers, who won the PBR World Championship in 2000 and 2003, and who ranks third in career earnings with more than $3.9 million. Bull riding begins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Tickets are available at the River Center box office, Ticketmaster outlets, www.Ticketmaster.com, and by telephone at (800) 745-3000.

Chihuahua, Mexico, will host the TPD at 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets can be purchased by telephone at(614) 413-5400.

The ninth annual Cowboy Capital TPD event will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Prescott Rodeo Grounds in Prescott, Ariz. Rob Smets, who received the Jim Shoulders Lifetime Achievement Award from the PBR in 2011, will be the announcer for the event. The TPD gives riders the opportunity to compete in PBR-sanctioned events while earning money to qualify for the nationally-televised Build Ford Tough Series, which consists of the Top 35 bull riders in the world. Every five events on the BFTS, the Top 5 riders (based on money earned) from the TPD are allowed to move into the BFTS.

The BFTS features the world's best and highest-paid bull riders competing against the fiercest bucking bulls on the planet. The TPD allows established veterans and newcomers alike the opportunity to compete against some of the world's best bucking bulls.

The BFTS will be back in action Aug. 31-Sept. 1 in Thackerville, Okla., for the WinStar World Casino Invitational. It will be the second year in a row that the BFTS will compete under the stars in a custom-built arena adjacent to the WinStar World Casino. In 2011, Thackerville became the first outdoor BFTS event since 2005 in Laughlin, Nevada. Tickets are available at www.WinStarWorldCasino.com, and by telephone at (800) 745-3000.

The BFTS is televised every week on CBS, CBS Sports Network, NBC, NBC Sports Network and YouTube. BFTS telecasts are produced for the PBR under a multi-year agreement with David Neal Productions, a Los Angeles-based production company led by 34-time Emmy® Award winner and Peabody Award winner David Neal, who serves as executive producer.
