PUEBLO, Colo. - The Professional Bull Riders Touring Pro Division continues this weekend with events in Arizona, Louisiana, and Mexico.
The 14th annual Jerome Davis PBR Invitational will be held on Friday and Saturday at the Davis Ranch in Archdale, N.C. The event is hosted by PBR founder and Ring of Honor member Jerome Davis and 2010 Sharon Shoulders Award recipient Tiffany Davis. Tickets are available by telephone at (336) 861-7673.
The TPD will make its annual stop at the Central Texas State Fair this weekend with bull riding beginning at 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at the Bell County Expo Center. Tickets are available by telephone at (254) 933-5353.
The annual Rocky Mountain Bull Bash returns to downtown Steamboat Springs, Colo., at 5 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are available at Steamboat Chamber & Resort, and by telephone at (970) 879-0880.
The TPD gives riders the opportunity to compete in PBR-sanctioned events while earning money to qualify for the nationally-televised BFTS, which is comprised of the Top 35 bull riders in the world. Every five events on the BFTS, the Top 5 riders (based on money earned) from the TPD are allowed to move into the BFTS.
The BFTS features the world's best and highest-paid bull riders competing against the fiercest bucking bulls on the planet. The TPD allows established veterans and newcomers alike the opportunity to compete against some of the world's best bucking bulls.
The BFTS will be back in action on Friday and Saturday in Thackerville, Okla., for the WinStar World Casino Invitational. It will be the second year in a row that the BFTS will compete under the stars in a custom-built arena adjacent to the WinStar World Casino. In 2011, Thackerville became the first outdoor BFTS event since 2005 in Laughlin, Nevada. Tickets are available at www.WinStarWorldCasino.com, and by telephone at (800) 745-3000.
The BFTS is televised every week on CBS, CBS Sports Network, NBC, NBC Sports Network and YouTube. BFTS telecasts are produced for the PBR under a multi-year agreement with David Neal Productions, a Los Angeles-based production company led by 34-time Emmy® Award winner and Peabody Award winner David Neal, who serves as executive producer.
