PUEBLO, Colo. - The Professional Bull Riders announced that Friday's 15/15 Bucking Battle will feature 2011 World Champion Bull runner-up Asteroid, and 2007 World Champion Bull Chicken on a Chain.

Last week, Asteroid led the Top 15 bulls in the world to a 15-0 shutout against the top bull riders in the PBR 15/15 in Tampa, Fla.

CBS will broadcast the special Built Ford Tough Series event in its entirety at either 3 p.m. or 5 p.m. ET on Sunday (please check local listings).

The PBR 15/15 will be held immediately following Round 1 on Friday. Tickets for Friday include Round 1 of the Built Ford Tough Series event featuring the Top 35 bull riders in the world, and the PBR 15/15. Bull riding begins at 8 p.m. Tickets begin at $10, and are on sale at the Greensboro Coliseum box office, www.Ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster outlets at participating Walmart locations and by telephone at (800) 745-3000.

Asteroid (Circle T Ranch & Rodeo) has the three highest bull scores of the season, and eight of the Top 16 scores this year. In last week's PBR 15/15, he scored 47.5 out of a possible 50 points in bucking off third-ranked Valdiron de Oliveira in 2.33 seconds. The score tied the highest bull score of the season, also held by Asteroid when he bucked off PBR World Champion Silvano Alves in 1.81 seconds at the first PBR 15/15 in Sacramento, Calif.

J.B. Mauney posted the second-highest score of the season with 93.5 points on Asteroid to win the championship round in San Antonio. Oliveira has the highest score of the season with 94 points on Buckey to win the first PBR 15/15 at Sacramento.

This week, Asteroid is matched up with 2010 World Champion Renato Nunes, who is ranked ninth in the BFTS standings, while Chicken on a Chain is paired with No. 11 Harve Stewart. It is the second PBR 15/15 meeting between Nunes and Asteroid, who bucked off the ninth-ranked rider in the world in 2.86 seconds at Uncasville, Conn. Nunes tied with Stormy Wing for first place in the PBR 15/15 Bucking Battle in Idaho. Chicken on a Chain has a career record of 52-26 in BFTS events.

Voted by PBR riders as Stock Contractor of the Year in 2010 and 2011, Jeff Robinson of Mars Hill, N.C., is providing nine of the 15 bulls being used in the PBR 15/15 Bucking Battle, including Chicken on a Chain. Circle T Ranch & Rodeo is providing five bulls, including Asteroid, and Teague Bucking Bulls of Winston-Salem, N.C., is providing one bull.

The PBR 15/15 features the Top 15 riders in the world competing against the 15 highest-ranked bulls at the event for an additional purse of $21,000. The bulls were each randomly assigned a position from 1-15. The riders were then matched with their bulls based upon their own current rankings in the Built Ford Tough Series standings.

Built Ford Tough Series points are doubled in the PBR 15/15, with the winner receiving 200 points and second place receiving 180 points, continuing on a graduated scale to 20 points for 10th place. The rider also receives his ride score (1-100 points), which means that 300 points are possible for the winner. Points earned in the PBR 15/15 will count toward the season standings, and money earned counts towards qualification for the Built Ford Tough World Finals. If a rider fails to make a qualified ride, he does not receive any points or money. Points earned in the special round do not count toward the results of the North Carolina event, but they do count toward the overall season standings.

Top-ranked Alves has drawn Delco (Jeff Robinson Bucking Bulls) while second-ranked L.J. Jenkins is paired with Shamoun (Teague Bucking Bulls). Delco bucked off Alves in 4.31 seconds earlier this season in Tulsa, Okla. Shamoun is a perfect 20-0 on the BFTS, including bucking off Jenkins in 2.55 seconds in the championship round at Uncasville, Conn., and in 2.20 seconds in Round 5 of the World Finals in 2010.

Third-ranked Oliveira is matched up with Quiet Riot (Jeff Robinson Bucking Bulls), and 2008 PBR World Champion Guilherme Marchi has drawn Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey (Circle T Ranch & Rodeo). Quiet Riot is 10-0 in BFTS events, including buckoffs of Marchi, Nunes, and 2004 PBR World Champion Mike Lee. Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey has bucked off five riders in a row to improve to 15-3 this season. Marchi, who is ranked fourth, won the DEWALT Guaranteed Tough Invitational last weekend in Tampa, Fla., and the PBR 15/15 in Billings, Mont.

North Carolina native Mauney, who is ranked fifth, is paired up with Larry The Cable Guy's Git-R-Done (Jeff Robinson Bucking Bulls), while sixth-ranked Fabiano Vieira  has drawn Lightmaker.com's Rango (Jeff Robinson Bucking Bulls). Lightmaker.com's Rango has bucked off nine riders in a row to improve to 25-2 in BFTS events, while Larry The Cable Guy's Git-R-Done is 26-3 in BFTS events. Mauney has the most Built Ford Tough Series event wins with three, while Alves, Vieira, and Robson Palermo each have two wins.

Austin Meier, who is ranked seventh, has drawn Palm Springs (Circle T Ranch & Rodeo), and Marco Eguchi, who is ranked eighth, is paired with Pawnbroker (Jeff Robinson Bucking Bulls). Meier won the PBR 15/15 at Uncasville, Conn. Palm Springs has a 17-0 record in BFTS events, including buckoffs of 2009 PBR World Champion Kody Lostroh and two-time World Champion Chris Shivers. Pawnbroker bucked off Ryan Dirteater last week to improve to 3-1 in BFTS outs.

Palermo, who is ranked 12th, has David's Dream (Circle T Ranch & Rodeo). David's Dream bucked off Luke Snyder in last week's PBR 15/15 to improve to 7-0 this season and 9-0 overall in BFTS events.

Snyder, who is ranked 13th, will be on Highway 12 (Jeff Robinson Bucking Bulls), and 14th-ranked Wing will be matched with Shepherd Hills Trapper (Circle T Ranch & Rodeo). Snyder won the PBR 15/15 at Albuquerque, N.M., and Wing tied with Nunes for first place in the PBR 15/15 in Idaho. Highway 12 is 16-1 in his last 17 outs, including a 2.87-second buckoff of Alves last week in Tampa, and 31-4 overall in BFTS events. Shepherd Hills Trapper has bucked off nine riders in a row to improve to 15-3 in BFTS events this season, and 35-7 overall

Sixteenth-ranked Ben Jones is matched up with Mulligan Man (Jeff Robinson Bucking Bulls), and 17th-ranked Chase Outlaw has drawn Meat Hook (Jeff Robinson Bucking Bulls). Jones and Outlaw are in the draw because 10th-ranked Dirteater and 15th-ranked Lostroh are injured. It is the second week in a row that Jones has gotten on Mulligan Man, who bucked him off in 6.10 seconds at Tampa to improve to 13-0 this season and 19-1 overall in BFTS outs. Mulligan Man also bucked Jones off a year ago in St. Louis. Meat Hook bucked off Lostroh last week in Tampa. Stewart won the championship round and the event in Thackerville, Okla., after scoring 90.50 points on the bull, and Vieira rode him for 91 points to win the championship round and the event in San Antonio.

The BFTS is televised every week on CBS, CBS Sports Network, NBC, NBC Sports Network and YouTube. BFTS telecasts are produced for the PBR under a multi-year agreement with David Neal Productions, a Los Angeles-based production company led by 34-time Emmy® Award winner and Peabody Award winner David Neal, who serves as executive producer.
