Professional Bull Rider J.B. Mauney stole the show in Duluth with his first win of 2011 at the Lucas Oil Invitational presented by Cooper Tires. The 24-year-old won Rounds 1 and 2, then tied with Austin Meier for third in Round 3 with an 87.25-point ride on Bad Medicine (Teague Bucking Bulls, LLC). Mauney bucked off of RMEF Gunpowder & Lead (Jeff Robinson Bucking Bulls) in the Built Ford Tough Championship Round, but held onto the average lead, going home with over $40,000 for the weekend.

Finishing second overall was Brazilian phenom Robson Palermo. He covered his bull in Round 1, then tied former World Champion Mike Lee for ninth place in Round 3, receiving 85.5 points on Hail Damage (Cornwell Bucking Bulls). Palermo also scored the highest scored ride of the weekend during the Built Ford Tough Championship Round - 91.25 points on Immigrant (Frontier Rodeo Company).

Former rookie of the year Silvano Alves finished close behind Palermo, winning Round 3 with 88 points on Perfect Poison (Circle T Ranch & Rodeo). He then finished second in the championship round with a 90-point ride on Speckled Ivory (Circle T Ranch & Rodeo). Fourth overall went to Jordan Hupp, who rode Flashpoint (Teague Bucking Bulls) in Round 3 for 86.25 points but bucked off of After Party (Circle T Ranch & Rodeo) in the Built Ford Tough Championship Round. Veteran rider Dustin Elliott rounded out the Top 5 after finishing second in Round 3 on Sleeper (Jeff Robinson/Cunningham) for 87.75 points (Jeff Robinson/Cunningham). He was one of three riders to then post a score in the championship round, riding Chicken on a Chain (Robinson/Tedesco/Larry the Cable Guy) for 89 points.

Stepping up to the challenge issued earlier this week by PBR COO Sean Gleason, NFL star Chad Ochocinco got on Deja Blu (Jeff Robinson/Cappello) in an exhibition ride during Saturday night's intermission. He hung on for 1.5 seconds before bucking off. In a post-ride interview, Ochocinco said he will donate the $10,000 promised by the PBR to his favorite charity, Feed the Children.

PBR fans can catch all of the action from Day 2 of Duluth, including Ochocinco riding Deja Blu, on VERSUS on Sunday, May 15 at 11:00 p.m. ET.

Next weekend, the Built Ford Tough Series goes to the PBR's hometown, Pueblo, Colo., for the last event before the summer break. The U.S. Bank Invitational starts at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 20 and on 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 21 at the Colorado State Fair Events Center. Duluth was the 18th stop on the nationally-televised Built Ford Tough Series, which makes 28 stops in 23 states. The season began at Madison Square Garden in New York, and culminates Oct. 26-30 in Las Vegas at the richest bull riding event in the world, the PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals, where the 2011 PBR World Champion will be crowned and awarded the $1 million Built Ford Tough bonus.
