FORMAT- Each of the 35 riders will ride on Friday and Saturday. Following Round 2 on Saturday, up to 15 riders will advance to the Built Ford Tough Championship Round. The championship round will have a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 15 riders. Riders who have ridden two bulls will advance to compete with one more bull. In the event that fewer than 10 riders ride two bulls, the riders with the highest score or the longest buckoff time will advance. In the event that more than 15 riders ride two bulls, the 15 riders with the highest cumulative scores will advance. The overall event winner will be the rider with the highest combined score from all three rounds, earning $30,000 for first place.
PBR 15/15 BUCKING BATTLE- The first PBR 15/15 Bucking Battle will be held immediately following Round 1 on Friday. The PBR 15/15 Bucking Battle features the Top 15 riders in the world competing against the 15 highest-ranked bulls at the event for an additional purse of $21,000. The bulls were each randomly assigned a position from 1-15. The riders were then matched with their bulls based upon their own current rankings in the BFTS standings. BFTS points will be doubled in the PBR 15/15 Bucking Battle, with the winner receiving 200 points and second place receiving 180 points, continuing on a graduated scale to 20 points for 10th place. Points earned count toward the BFTS standings, but DO NOT count toward determining the event winner in Winston-Salem. If a rider fails to make a qualified ride, he does not receive any points or money.
