WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. ― Shane Proctor made the most of his first Built Ford Tough Series appearance of the season, riding Chocolate Drop (Teague Bucking Bulls, LLC) for 85.50 points in Round 2, and Jack Daniel's After Party (Circle T Ranch & Rodeo) for 90.75 points in the Championship Round of the Professional Bull Riders BFTS Winston-Salem Invitational, capturing the event title on Saturday before 8,118 fans at LJVM Coliseum.
Proctor, competing as an alternate, picked up the high-marked and only 90-plus ride of the weekend to ensure his victory with 264.25 points overall. Cody Nance placed second with 259.25 points, while Jory Markiss took third with 176.75 points.
Lightmaker's Rango (Jeff Robinson Bucking Bulls) was given the Pabst Blue Ribbon Bull Award for the second consecutive week for being the high-marked bull of the event, earning 46.50 points out of a possible 50 points in the Championship Round.
The PBR will travel to Oklahoma next weekend for the WinStar World Casino Invitational at the Chesapeake Energy Arena. Bull riding begins at 8 p.m. on Friday, 7:50 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are available at www.Ticketmaster.com, and by telephone at (800) 745-3000.

The season will conclude at the Built Ford Tough World Finals in Las Vegas on Oct. 23-27, 2013. The PBR World Champion will receive the coveted Championship buckle and a $1 million bonus and a new pickup truck from Ford, the title sponsor of the Built Ford Tough Series.
