PUEBLO, Colo. ― On Friday, Saturday and Sunday Jan. 24-26, the Professional Bull Riders elite Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) heads to Chesapeake Energy Arena with the Top 35 bull riders in the world and the best bucking bulls in the business for its 14th appearance in Oklahoma City.
It’s the PBR BFTS Oklahoma City where each rider will face off with an opponent nearly 100 times their weight in sinewy brawn during 8-second battles from which only one athlete will be left standing.
The bull riding action begins Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets, ranging in price from $15 to $100, are on sale now to the general public. They can be purchased at the Chesapeake Energy Arena ticket office, all Ticketmaster Ticket Centers, www.ticketmaster.com, or charge by phone at 800-745-3000.
In addition to the defending event champion Sean Willingham, Bushwacker streak slayer and newly crowned 2013 World Champion J.B. Mauney is expected to be in the lineup for this three-day event. Joining them are former World Champions Silvano Alves (2011, 2012), Renato Nunes (2010), Kody Lostroh (2009), Guilherme Marchi (2008) and Mike Lee (2004); young guns Jory Markiss, Douglas Duncan and Chase Outlaw; and fan favorites L.J. Jenkins and Shane Proctor.
Challenging these men will be the series’ best bulls. In 2013, Bushwacker emerged from the OKC event as the high-marked bull of the weekend. He was joined in the championship round by Smackdown and Shepherd Hills Tested, as well as Train Wreck and Mississippi. These and others are presently expected to appear this January.

It will conclude at the PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals in Las Vegas on Oct. 22-26 when the 2014 PBR World Champion, the bull rider who amasses the most points during the 2014 season, will receive the coveted World Championship belt buckle and a $1 million bonus.
