SWEET SIXTEEN - This will be the sixteenth consecutive year that the PBR will hold an event in Anaheim, Calif. Anaheim is the sixth stop on the Built Ford Tough Series. The LiftMaster Invitational takes place at the Honda Center at 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 8; 6:50 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9; and 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10.
UP NEXT - The Built Ford Tough Series will
travel to St. Louis, Mo., for the Kawasaki Invitational, visiting
the Scottrade Center at 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 15; at 8:00 p.m. on
Saturday, Feb. 16; and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 17.
PAST WINNERS - Greg Potter is the only three-time
winner of the Anaheim Invitational. Five former PBR World Champions
have won the event, including Guilherme Marchi, Silvano Alves, Kody
Lostroh, Mike Lee and Adriano Moraes. Here is a complete list of

FORMAT - Each of the series' Top 35 riders will
ride on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Following Round 3 on Sunday,
up to 15 riders will advance to the Built Ford Tough Championship
Round. The championship round will have a minimum of 10 and a
maximum of 15 riders. Riders who have ridden three bulls will
advance to compete on one more bull. In the event that fewer than
10 riders ride two bulls, the riders with the highest score or the
longest buck-off time will advance. In the event that more than 15
riders ride three bulls, the 15 riders with the highest cumulative
scores will advance. The overall event winner will be the rider
with the highest combined score from all four rounds, earning
$30,000 for first place.
BONUS BULL - This week's Round 1 winner
will face off with Mickey Mouse (Marlene Henry) for $3,000 on
Friday night. The previous event winner, Guilherme Marchi in
Sacramento, Calif., will face off with Sancho (Circle T/3B Bucking
Bulls) Saturday night for $3,000. Bonus bull points are 100 points,
plus the ride score.
MONSTER ENERGY MONEY BULL - Monster Energy is
sponsoring a Monster Energy Money Bull at nine Built Ford Tough
Series events this season. The bonus for successfully riding this
bull starts at $6,000. The bonus will continue to increase by
$6,000 each time the rider fails to reach 8 seconds on the bull.
The Monster Energy Money Bull bonus will also increase each time a
rider fails to reach 8 seconds on the weekly bonus bull. In this
instance, the bonus bull payout of $3,000 will be added to the
Monster Energy Money Bull bonus.
Seven of the Monster Energy Money Bull matchups will be a randomly-selected bull in the PBR 15/15 Bucking Battles (Jan. 18 at Winston-Salem, N.C.; Feb. 1 at Sacramento, Calif.; Feb. 23 at Kansas City, Mo.; April 6 at Billings, Mont.; April 20 at Des Moines, Iowa; Sept. 20 at Biloxi, Miss.; and Oct. 4 at Fayetteville, N.C.). The remaining two matchups include a randomly-selected bull in the Built Ford Tough Championship Round at the Monster Energy Invitational in New York and the LiftMaster Invitational in Anaheim, Calif. POSSIBLE POINTS - There are 1,100 possible points
available in Anaheim, Calif., as the winner of the event will
receive 300 points and each of the four round-wins is worth 100
points, plus the ride score.
PBR BUILT FORD TOUGH WORLD FINALS - The
Built Ford Tough Series season will conclude Oct. 23-27 in Las
Vegas with the PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals, where the PBR
World Champion will be crowned and awarded a $1 million bonus. The
richest bull riding event in the world, the PBR World Finals has a
total purse of more than $2 million.
HEROES AND LEGENDS - The PBR Heroes &
Legends Celebration Reception will be held from 5:30-7 p.m. at
South Point, and will be immediately followed by the PBR Heroes
& Legends Celebration from 7-9 p.m. The ceremony will include
the induction of the 2013 Ring of Honor member(s), and the
presentation of the Brand of Honor, the Jim Shoulders Lifetime
Achievement Award and the Sharon Shoulders Award. The PBR Built
Ford Tough World Finals Kickoff Party will be held immediately
following the Heroes & Legends Celebration.
