PUEBLO, Colo.  This week, the Professional Bull Riders Touring Pro Division will make a stop in Asheville, North Carolina, for four-time defending Stock Contractor of the Year Jeff Robinson’s PBR event. This will be the marquee bull riding and the second of 10 events as part of the annual RMEF Big Bull Tour.

PAST ASHEVILLE PBR EVENT WINNERS

2011    J.B. Mauney
2012    Rooster McKeeman
2013    Gage Gay

THE RIDERS:

CHAMPIONS CHALLENGEIn a bonus round Friday night, 2006 World Finals event winner L.J. Jenkins, 2004 World Champion Mike Lee, reigning World Champion J.B. Mauney and Asheville defending champion Gage Gay will compete Friday night for a $15,000 Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation prize pack. The man who receives the highest score atop his respective bull will win.

Matchups – Each rider will go up against one of Jeff Robinson’s bulls:

Delco
Kiss Animalize
Percolator
Western Hauler

CASHING IN – After winning last weekend’s event in Decatur, 2004 World Champion Mike Lee has a shot at winning an extra $15,000 if he successfully wins this weekend’s event as well. Event promoters J.W. Hart and Jeff Robinson agreed earlier this year that if one man could win both of their events, they would award him $15,000.  Lee, who has won two TPD events over the last two weeks (Decatur, Texas and Uvalde, Texas) seems poised and now has even more of a reason to fight for a third victory.
