In case you havent heard Versus is back on Direct TV. I had heard rumors that it would happen sometime in March, but one never really knows.
Anyways, congrats to all those that stuck it out & waited on Comcast to let Direct TV air
Versus once again.
Let me see, should be a couple of years before they pull the same thing with Dish Network again......that's how its happened the last few times anyways. Every couple of years Comcast
gets a bug up their nose & uses one of the satellite providers as a Kleenex! -

March 15, 2010It was just so exciting to see LJ ride the unridaBULL Voo Doo Child! I was really happy for him -Congrats LJ.
So sorry about Kody's injury, it could not of come at a worst time (of course its never a good time to get hurt) and I just hope and pray he is not hurt that badly and will heal up quickly.
Also way to go Marchi! -

March 15, 2010way to go LJ!!!!!!!!!! i was sitting at the event center and wasn't too suprised at the pick. i saw him go up against voodoo in st.louis live, and the few adjustments LJ made changed the ride TOTALY. anyways, i was at the event center and freaked out when i saw the 24 rider scores come in. i let everyone in the house know he rode him, and i thought that made my day...
...untill kody's wreck. that ruined my day. he was doing so good untill he got hung up. i wanted to throw up when they showed the part where the shoulder popped. of all guys [not that i wanted this to happen to anyone], WHY KODY? despite that, i guess i have another reason to dislike charlie bullware- for hurting troubie AND kody [even though it isn't his fault, it feels good to have someone to blame it on]. hope to see you soon kody, but don't rush it!
i also made terrible fantasy picks. i chose mauney, meier, nunes, hupp, wimberly, voodoo child, white magic, and silver wings :,( -

March 15, 2010I guess a lot of us picked wrong on the fantasy teams this week. I had Lostroh, Meier,
Willingham, Newberry and Wimberley. Three rides the whole event. Thank goodness the bulls
stay consistent. I, too, hated to see all the injuries. As much as I enjoy watching Kody
ride, I wonder if he would not be better off to get everything fixed now and come back strong
for next season. JB looks like he is being held together with tape and braces, so he has got
to be hurting, too! I also agree that April is not a good time for the World Cup. I would
rather it be held in the summer (to give us something to watch during the break.) LJ was
awesome on Voodoo Child. -

March 15, 2010HOLY S**T!!!!! L.J that was an awesum ride. Still can't get that ride out of my head.
Seeing it in real life it makes it even better. Way to Go! -

March 15, 2010Yes, the bulls gave most of us the points this past weekend. I had JB, Shane, Austin, Mike and Jody. Got skunked on Austin and ever so few points on the other cowboys--still love 'em all and admire them more than I can say. Yikes, they kept replaying Kody's wreck and I could barely watch it the first time. Watching him walk down the hallway to Sports Medicine made me tear up for him. From the looks of it, it actually could have been far worse, because it looked like Charlie could have stomped his backside on top of the hang up--thank the good Lord and Kody's angel for protecting him as much as possible under the circumstances. Rest a_sured, Kody, heaven is being bombarded with prayers for you! -

March 15, 2010What outstaning rides in the short go.
I am so happy for LJ, they have always said LJ knows more about the bulls and after being bucked off by Voodoo Child before he sure knew the moves to make to ride this great bull. I am sure this ride will be shown many more times and go down in history. He really stuck it on the bull for 94 points, looked like a perfect ride.
It is so good to see so many riders stepping up and making the events so exciting. I know a lot of riders are riding in pain and I only hope for all to heal up.
With the World Cup in April, there is no telling who will not be injured at that time.
Take care guys we sure have you in our prayers. -

March 15, 2010First off, CONGRATULATIONS to LJ!!!!! WOW! WOW! WOW! 94 points on Voodoo Child, oh my goodness! One for the ages! Good for you!!!!!!!
Secondly, I am sick about Kody! Seemed like he was working through the elbow issue and has done really well recently. Now this...
Kody, I will keep you in my prayers, for a speedy recovery and good health.
Ughhhhhhhhhhhh!
Thirdly, I must join in on the fantasy disaster weekend! I had Kody, Austin, Josh, Jordan and Jody. Yikes, they all imploded at the same time. I'm not sure I want to look at the standings :(
Thank goodness my bulls came through for me in a big way: Voodoo Child, Chicken on a Chain and White Magic! It's all about the bulls! ;) -

March 15, 2010Watching L.J. was exciting, but tonights event had some men that paid dearly for their ride
in the form of injuries.Kody for one, he is already riding hurt, J.B. has injury issues also.
I love to watch bull riding anytime I can and I think the World Cup is great, however I think
it's at a bad time. Why couldn't this event be held during the off season instead of right in
the middle of regular season. My point is many guys on the USA team are riding injured already.
They are trying to win the 2010 season of PBR and this is going to add extra wear & tear on their
bodies and there will still be much of the regular season left after World Cup.Everyone of the
men on the teams will cowboy up at the risk of aggravating current injuries.Oh well, they'll do
as they've always done, it just seems to me they (PBR) are putting too much extra in a regular
season.Don't get me wrong, I love it, but I love my guys too and I'm thinking about them. -

March 15, 2010Congrats to L.J. A long overdue win! And what a great way to do it on Voodoo Child! So
happy for L.J.!!!
Not so happy for Kody getting hurt again. Like someone said in an earlier post, just when it
looked like he was going to be able to ride through the pain and the elbow injury, this
happens. Will definitely be praying for Kody that it is not that serious and he will not
have to be out too long. Also sad for Wagner. What a bad way to start off on the BfTS.
Prayers for both of them and all the other riders that are injured. Heal up quick and come
back strong! -

March 15, 2010Congrats to LJ on a fantastic ride and to all the riders who covered their bulls in the short go. What a pen of bulls. I was going to pick LJ this weekend because they were on the West Coast and didnt do it. Now I regret it. What a ride. It reminded me of the time he covered Reindeer Dippin. That too was a fantastic ride. Sorry to see Kody hurt again. Heal quickly my friend. Will be thinking of you. Lastly, like everyone else I took a beating in the Fantasy Game this week except for my bull picks.... I had Kody, Austin, McKennon, Ryan McConnel and Jordan Hupp. But my bulls came through for me Chicken, Voodoo and White Magic. I am gaining on Justin McKee and Craig Hummer. If I have a good week next weekend could p!@# them. LOL. For all hurting after this week will be praying for a speedy recovery. God Bless all. -

March 14, 2010Congrats LJ! I'm SO happy for him, especially with his mom being there! That ride on Voodoo Child was legendary! He definitely deserved it!
So sad to see Kody get hurt like that after he seemed to be making such a great comeback. I hope it isn't too serious & he can make it back soon & stay on the USA team for World Cup! Shame that JB, Austin & McKennon didn't do too well this weekend either. But that's okay boys, you'll get 'em in Fresno!
Shannon K: I definitely know how you feel w/ your Fantasy picks this weekend! Definitely not what I expected, either. Maybe we'll have better luck next weekend! :) -

March 14, 2010Congratulations LJ, Dustin, and Renanto for those 90+ point rides! And to Aaron Roy for a 2nd. place finish and Guilherme for that exciting ride on SkyHawk Cut-a-Rug! NICE!
And thanks to JB Mauney for !@#isting Kody Lostroh in the chute in round two! Looks as if Kody and JB have a great relationship and great sportsmanship!

March 14, 2010WOW, what a treat to see LJ make a great ride on Voodoo Child! I'm so excited for him and for his mom! Dustin and Renato's rides were also very fun to watch. Given my exchange with leather earlier this week, I got a chuckle when Justin McBride snuck in a jab at people who criticize him for saying that he would have always picked the rankest bull available. Maybe I was wrong and Justin really was trying to be critical!
I just cringed watching Kody's wreck tonight -- it looked so painful and frustrating! I'll be praying he makes wise decisions and heals up soon. Sad to see Wagner Luciano injured as well!
Well, I *was* about to break into the top 100 of the PBR Fantasy League. That would be before I picked JB, Austin, Josh, Jordan, and Mike this week. Yeah. -

March 14, 2010WOW what an exciting ride I didn't realize until it was over that I was standing on the couch yelling at the tv. Way to go L.J. 94pts! It's rides like that that make you love the PBR.

March 14, 2010Some good rides in the short-go. Feel sorry for Kody. He really got his arm jerked around
tonight. Will really be surprised if he is able to compete in the World Cup.
I got a kick out of L.J.'s Mom. -

March 14, 2010They say good things comes to those that wait and you've waited long enough. Congrats L.J.
and what a way to win.
I'm sorry to see Kody hurt he took a lick and J.B. did too, didn't hear anything about him.
I know something must be hurting him after the lick he took. -

March 14, 2010Whoa, LJ! I'll say it does wonders for your confidence. You covered Voodoo, won the event and jumped in the standings. What a fabulous confidence builder and padding for the pocketbook :) Good job! Congratulations on a huge accomplishment--wow!
