The Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) announced that Stanley Black & Decker has been named the “Official and Exclusive Tool Partner of the PBR.”
Stanley Black & Decker will have a presence at elite Built Ford Tough Series events, including signage, both affixed and electronic, in-arena promotions, a booth on the concourse, public-address announcements, tickets and chute seats and behind-the-scene tours. The partnership will also include PBR Fan Zones and promotions with PBR riders at local Stanley Black & Decker retail partners.
It was also announced that Stanley Black & Decker has created “Team Stanley” with sponsorship of PBR riders Silvano Alves (Pilar do Sul, Sao Paulo, Brazil), Skeeter Kingsolver (McLouth, Kan.), Mike Lee (Decatur, Texas) and Guilherme Marchi (Leme, Sao Paulo, Brazil), who will make appearances and carry the DeWalt and Stanley brand logos on their uniforms during competition in the elite Built Ford Tough Series on behalf of Stanley Black & Decker.

Stanley Black & Decker will also be part of the PBR’s Brahma Bull Series in Brazil.

July 28, 2010Oh, and a new team of bull riders oughtta be fun to watch! (We haven't seen many teams this year with sponsors dwindling.) I remember the old DeWalt team too; I in fact still have a "DeWalt Bull Riders" sticker from an event I attended in '01. -

July 28, 2010Wow, this is pretty huge! Especially DeWalt, who used to be a sponsor of the PBR in the late '90s-early 2000's. And with (as I've heard it) the impending loss of Enterprise after this season, it's a big pick-up for the PBR. Kudos!
