of 7Guilherme Marchi has been committed to getting stronger in the second half and it has been paying off on the dirt. He's been working out hard between events and hopes to lose a little weight before the Built Ford Tough World Finals and stay conditioned to be even stronger next season.
of 7J.B. Mauney has had to fight back from injuries the past few events and did it again in Round 1 in Charlotte. He rode Ram It for 88 points to win Round 1 but once again took a hit later in the event that will take him out of the Rumble in the Rockies this weekend.
of 7Mauney was quick to point out, though, that Kaique Pacheco has been a competitor that reminded him of himself in a lot of ways. He noted that the young Brazilian does not let the outside events distract him, and that focus has been key to both their careers.
of 7Pacheco proved Mauney right when he rode I'm Trouble for 85 points in Round 1. The two had met before earlier in the season and Pacheco used that to his advantage.
of 7Jess Lockwood continued his stellar second half performance when he won Round 2 after an 88.25-point ride on Billy Bat Skat. He spoke highly of his foe after the ride, noting that he fit him perfectly.
of 7Jared Allen's Air Time recorded his eighth BFTS out in Charlotte and officially qualified for the World Champion Bull race. He had trouble getting out of the chute, which resulted in a less than stellar score, but stock contractor Matt Scharping decided that Air Time has nothing left to prove and that he'll focus on having him ready for World Finals.
of 7Kaique Pacheco went 3-for-3 in Charlotte and tied Ryan Dirteater with his BFTS-leading third event win. Pacheco has made a habit of really hitting his stride in the second half and noted that, despite all the attention being the World No. 1 gets, he will continue maintaining his focus.
Kaique Pacheco showed that he can handle the extra pressure in Charlotte. Meanwhile, J.B. Mauney fought back while Jess Lockwood and Guilherme Marchi continued their second half pushes. Re-live it all in their words.
