PUEBLO, Colo. ― Flint Rasmussen, the Professional Bull Riders' official entertainer, joins Alexis Bloomer today as the co-host of "Western Sports Round Up" on SiriusXM's new Agribusiness and Western Lifestyle channel, RURAL RADIO.

Rasmussen and Bloomer host "Western Sports Round Up" Monday-Friday from 6 - 7 p.m. ET exclusively on RURAL RADIO, found only on SiriusXM channel 80.

Rasmussen has been the official entertainer of the Professional Bull Riders since 1998, entertaining audiences at Built Ford Tough Series events. Through a combination of athletic talent and a natural flair for entertainment, he keeps the crowd engaged during lulls in the action or commercial breaks. The legendary in-arena personality captivates fans young and old every night with his quick wit, comical stunts and dance moves.

As the co-host of WSR, Flint will give listeners the latest PBR news, from details about the 2013 PBR world championship race to highlights from weekly regular season events, including commentary about the epic rides and wrecks. Other PBR personalities, including bull riders, stock contractors, PBR executives and everyone's favorite PBR writer, Keith Ryan Cartwright, are expected to be guests on the show, as well.

"In the past seven years, I feel like I've established a huge following and fan base in the PBR and my goal is to have all of the people who watch me in the arena during PBR events become listeners of Western Sports Round Up," stated Rasmussen. "There is a widely underserved demographic of people across this country who have been craving and demanding a show like this, and I am completely on board with RURAL RADIO and the goal of bringing Western sports to mainstream America."

Randy Bernard, president and CEO of Rural Media Group, Inc, parent company to RURAL RADIO, added, "Over the past decade I have seen, first hand, Flint engage, enliven and inspire audiences all over the country. He's personable, well-informed, lively and the right professional fit. I am thrilled to have Flint Rasmussen join RURAL RADIO."
