CHICAGO ― Chase Outlaw picked up his first round win of the year with an 87.75-point performance on Jared Allen’s H4WW Dynamite in Round 1 of the Chicago Invitational Saturday night at Allstate Arena.

Pistol Robinson and Mike Lee split second place with 86.75 points apiece on L.J. (Dakota Rodeo/Chad Berger/Clay Struve) and Johnny Be Good (Cornwell Bucking Bulls), respectively.

2013 Rookie of the Year Joao Ricardo Vieira currently sits in fourth place after riding Fat Chance (Cornwell Bucking Bulls) for 86 points. 2009 World Champion Kody Lostroh, Reese Cates and J.B. Mauney are all tied for fifth with 85.75 points.

Mauney made history on Saturday night by notching his 16th consecutive ride with an 85.75-point effort on KISS Destroyer (Dakota Rodeo/Chad Berger/Clay Struve).

The previous record was 15 rides in a row, set by Terry Don West back in 1998.

The Built Ford Tough Series in Chicago continues tomorrow, Sunday, Jan. 12, at 2 p.m. with Round 2 and the championship round of competition. Both rounds will air Sunday night on CBS Sports Network at 8 p.m. ET.

Chicago is the second stop on the 2014 PBR Built Ford Tough Series tour, following the kickoff event at the World's Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden. The season ends Oct. 22-26 in Las Vegas at the PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals where the overall PBR World Champion will be crowned, presented the coveted championship belt buckle and awarded a $1 million bonus.
