Missed the drama under the Vegas lights? Here’s everything you need to know from the 2025 PBR Camping World Teams Championship — a weekend of chaos, upsets and redemption that ended with the Carolina Cowboys riding their way into history.

After three days inside T-Mobile Arena, the 2025 PBR Camping World Teams season came to an end with Carolina capturing its first-ever league title, the Missouri Thunder completing a Cinderella run to the finals, and the Texas Rattlers finishing third. The Arizona Ridge Riders rounded out the top four in one of the most dramatic postseason finishes yet.

On the PBR Team Series...

LAS VEGAS, DAY 1
Opening night inside T-Mobile Arena was pure chaos. Ten teams entered, but by the end of a three-way play-in game, a three-way last-chance game and two five-on-five battles, only six remained standing.

The Arizona Ridge Riders, Carolina Cowboys, and Missouri Thunder each punched their tickets to the quarterfinals in front of a roaring Vegas crowd.

The night began with the New York Mavericks (10th seed) stealing the spotlight, winning the play-in game with a four-ride, 350.25-point performance to eliminate the Oklahoma Wildcatters (9th seed) and Kansas City Outlaws (8th seed). Bob Mitchell (86.5 on Sizmagraf), Leonardo Castro (86.75 on Milestone), Mauricio Gulla Moreira (88.5 on Stryker) and Hudson Bolton (88.5 on Black Harbor) delivered the franchise’s biggest win yet.

The Arizona Ridge Riders (23–13) advanced to the quarterfinals with a 255–176.25 victory over the Missouri Thunder, backed by Everton Natan da Silva (86 on Mo Money), Eduardo Aparecido (86.75 on Margin of Error) and Luciano De Castro (82.25 on Smokey).

The Carolina Cowboys (20–16) then rode a wave of perfection, becoming just the third team in league history to post a 5-for-5 game in Vegas. Cooper Davis (85.75 on High Caliber), Adriano Salgado (85.75 on Bam Bam), Clay Guiton (83.75 on Ghost Face), Jess Lockwood (90.25 on Oyster Creek Brawler) and Derek Kolbaba (87.75 on July) took down the Nashville Stampede 433.25–261 to advance.

Closing out the night, the Missouri Thunder (16–21) survived elimination in the three-way last-chance game, defeating Nashville (15–22) and New York (10–27). Paulo Eduardo Rossetto’s career-high 90.75-point ride on Constant Payne proved the difference-maker, keeping Missouri’s season alive.

LAS VEGAS, DAY 2
Night two delivered historic upsets. For the first time in Teams postseason history, the top three seeds — Florida Freedom, Austin Gamblers, and Texas Rattlers — all fell on the same night.

The Arizona Ridge Riders (24–13) opened the quarterfinals with a 330.75–261.5 victory over the Texas Rattlers. Everton Natan da Silva (86 on Ugly This) and Eduardo Aparecido (86 on Hermes) gave Arizona an early edge, while Luciano De Castro (84.25 on Rip) and Keyshawn Whitehorse (74.5 on Holy Roller) sealed the win.

The Carolina Cowboys (21–16) stunned the defending champions, upsetting the Austin Gamblers 258.75–86.5 in a rematch of last year’s championship. Clay Guiton (87.5 on Cherry Shot), Jess Lockwood (83.75 on Old Testament) and Derek Kolbaba (87.5 on Strapper) carried Carolina to the semifinals.

Then came the biggest shock of the weekend — the Missouri Thunder (17–21) riding their first four bulls to eliminate the No. 1 seed Florida Freedom (25–12) 349.25–268.75. Paulo Eduardo Rossetto (86.75 on Cookie), Macaulie Leather (85.25 on Project X), Maverick Smith (89 on Top Dollar) and Andrew Alvidrez (88.25 on Rockville) turned the arena on its head. Florida’s John Crimber still electrified the crowd with a 92-point ride on Man Hater, but the league’s regular-season champs were done.

In the Last-Chance Game, the Texas Rattlers (24–13) redeemed themselves, defeating both Austin and Florida 265.75–89–88.75 to clinch the final semifinal spot. Claudio Montanha Jr. (87.25 on Simple Man), Brady Fielder (90 on Blonde Bomber) and Daniel Keeping (88.5 on Always Been Crazy) led the way.

LAS VEGAS, DAY 3
Championship Sunday was a story of redemption and heart. The final four featured neither of the top two seeds, but regardless of who they were up against, only one team would ride away victorious.

The semifinals opened with the Missouri Thunder (18–21) outlasting the Texas Rattlers (24–14) 350–348 in a game where every ride mattered. Macaulie Leather (88.75 on Bex Red Eye), Maverick Smith (86.5 on Let Him Fly), Miguel de Jesus (87.25 on Sizmagraf) and Andrew Alvidrez (87.5 on Sweet Action) carried Missouri to the Finals.

The Carolina Cowboys (22–16) then battled the Arizona Ridge Riders (24–14) in a showdown for the ages. With the score tied 174.5–174.5 after five outs, Clay Guiton delivered an 88-point overtime ride on Milestone — the first extra-frame game in Teams Championship history — to punch Carolina’s ticket to its second straight Finals appearance.

In the championship round, Carolina refused to miss its moment. Behind Cooper Davis (68.25 on Snap Chatter), Adriano Salgado (87.5 on J Lady S) and Clay Guiton (86.75 on El Chapo), the Cowboys went 3-for-5 to defeat Missouri 242.5–177.75 and capture their first PBR Teams Championship trophy.

Guiton, just 20 years old, was named PBR Teams Championship MVP, going a perfect 5-for-5 across the weekend with rides on Ghost Face, Cherry Shot, Hoobastank, Milestone and El Chapo.

Final results:

  1. Carolina Cowboys – Champions

  2. Missouri Thunder – Runner-Up

  3. Texas Rattlers – Third Place

  4. Arizona Ridge Riders – Fourth Place
