This year Bud Light will present an explosive live performance as Blues Traveler hits the stage at the House of Blues in the luxurious Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino on Friday, October 28, 2005. Among the hottest bands going, Blues Traveler is known not only for their aesthetic songwriting and dynamic live performances, but also for their unique synthesis of pop, rock, and blues genres. Doors for the PBR World Finals After-Party hosted by Bud Light and the House of Blues will open at 7 p.m. with the show starting at 8:30 p.m. Carbon Leaf will open for Blues Traveler. Ticket prices are $25 and $30 and you must be 21 to attend.
The PBR welcomes The Great Divide to the stage on Saturday, October 29. Hailing from Stillwater, Okla., The Great Divide is a grass roots country band that appeals to a varied population ranging from cowboys to college kids and baby boomers. The band's newest album, Under Your Own Sun was released on May 10, 2005. Tickets for this event are $20.
Finally on Sunday, November 6 the PBR Awards Banquet proudly features the smooth vocals and memorable melodies of Tommy Shane Steiner. Join the PBR in recognizing its champions during the exclusive awards ceremony and dinner, which of course takes place at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Steiner is a real cowboy with roots deep in Texas and deep in the western way of life. Steiner's great grandfather Buck Steiner is a member of the Cowboy Hall of Fame as is his grandfather, the late Tommy Steiner. Steiner's father is 1973 World Champion bull rider Bobby, his mother is a former barrel racer, and his brother Sid earned the title of 2002 World Champion Steer Wrestler. Tickets for this event are $75.
Don't forget that as previously announced the PBR proudly features Pat Green during the official PBR After-Event Party taking place immediately following the fifth performance on Friday, November 4. Tickets for this event are $20. Additionally, the Bellamy Brothers will jam on Saturday, November 5 immediately following the sixth performance of the World Finals. The first weekend of World Finals action gets underway at the Mandalay Bay Events Center on Friday, October 28 and runs through Sunday, October 30.
