The Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) is excited to announce that tickets for the Mohegan Sun Invitational will go on sale this weekend exclusively through Ticketmaster. The annual event will return to Uncasville, Conn., to the Mohegan Sun Arena on October 17-19, 2008. Fans can purchase tickets online at www.Ticketmaster.com with the PBR08 access code starting July 12. The general public will be able to purchase tickets starting July 19.

Ticket prices for the three-day event start at $10. They increase to $25, $40 and $75 for the Friday, Oct. 17, show. Tickets increase to $25, $50 and $100 for the Saturday, Oct. 18 and Sunday, Oct. 19 performances.

The event showcases more than two hours of the world’s best bull riding athletes – cowboys and bulls – battling for their last chance to quality for the 2008 Built Ford Tough World Finals presented by Wrangler in Las Vegas, Nev. 2007 Mohegan Sun Invitational event winner Wiley Petersen (Fort Hall, Idaho), two-time and reigning PBR World Champion (2005 & 2007) Justin McBride (Elk City, Okla.), and two-time PBR World Champion (2000 & 2003) Chris Shivers (Jonesville, La.) will ride alongside legendary three-time PBR World Champion (1994, 2001 and 2006) Adriano Moraes (Cachoeira Paulista, Sao Paulo, BZ) in this three-day man vs. beast competition. Moraes announced earlier this year that 2008 will be his last season riding bulls; this is Uncasville’s last chance to see the most decorated bull rider in PBR history in action.
