PORTLAND, Ore. - Jordan Hupp, who entered Day 2 here in second place overall, claimed his third career event win at the Rose Quarter on Sunday. He made an 84.75-point ride on Amy's Pet (Jeff Robinson Bucking Bulls) in Round 3, followed by an 86.25-point ride on Lincoln Electric's Bring It (Chad Berger/Clay Struve/Box K Cattle Company) in the Built Ford Tough Championship Round, edging out then-average leader Marco Eguche. Hupp was the only rider to cover all four bulls in Portland.

Brazilian newcomer Eguche ended the weekend second overall, after riding both of his bulls in Day 1, then staying on Toy Soldier (Circle T Ranch & Rodeo) in Round 3 for 87.25 points. He selected Buckey (Wentz Bucking Bulls) for the championship round, but bucked off. Buckey's bull score for the out was 46.26 points (out of a possible 50), making him the winner of the Pabst Blue Ribbon Bull Award for being the high-marked bull of the event.

Third in the average was Ryan McConnel, who rode both of his bulls on Day 2. In Round 3, he made the buzzer on Keepin It Real (Circle T Ranch & Rodeo) for 85.5 points. He then covered Yellow Jacket Jr. in the championship round for 88.25 points.

Fourth in Portland went to L.J. Jenkins. He stayed on Express (Circle T Ranch & Rodeo) for 81.75 points in Round 3, and won the championship round on King of Hearts (Corey & Lange/Flying Diamond Rodeo Company) with 89.5 points. Rounding out the Top 5 was Austin Meier with an 86-point ride in Round 3 on Lincoln Electric's Ace in the Hole (Dakota Rodeo/Chad Berger/Clay Struve), followed by an 85.5-point ride on Shepherd Hills Trapper (Circle T Ranch & Rodeo) in the Built Ford Tough Championship Round.

The BFTS will continue touring the West Coast, stopping in Sacramento, Calif. next weekend for the Ariat Invitational, Jan. 28-29 at the Power Balance Pavilion. Bull riding begins at 6:00 p.m. PT on Jan. 28 and at 2:00 p.m. PT on Jan. 29. The BFTS will make 28 stops in 23 states before the Built Ford Tough World Finals in Las Vegas on Oct. 24-28.
