The Unleash The Beast returned to New York City this past weekend, and the action was red-hot in the frigid cold. The New York representation was strong as the New York Mavericks claimed their turf and Daylon Swearingen showed out, but it was ultimately Lucas Divino who stole the show. Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.
On the Unleash The Beast…
Lucas Divino is known for cheering on his buddies and bringing the energy on the back of the chutes, but at the PBR Monster Energy Buck Off At the Garden, presented by Ariat, Divino was finally the one being cheered himself as he surged to his first premier series win since 2020.
On Friday night, we saw the debut of the PBR Monster Energy Team Challenge, presented by Camping World, with the New York Mavericks defeating the Florida Freedom and remaining perfect on New York dirt.
Just inches away from his second event win of the season, veteran Derek Kolbaba reflects on his seven-year odyssey back to the winner’s circle.
Meanwhile, on the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour…
Andy Guzman won Round 1 of the PBR Portland in Oregon…
…but Dalton Rudman went 3-for-3 to take the event win.
