FORT WORTH, Texas – At the 95th iteration of the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Stockyards Showcase inside the iconic Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas, Ramon Fiorini de Souza (Serra Negra, Brazil) went 2-for-2 to win the event title. 

After sitting tall atop Elkins 011 (Philip Elkins) for 64 points in the opening round, Souza became the only rider to cover both of his animal athlete opponents by riding Wyloh WT (Wyloh Ranch) for 84 points in Round 2. 

The flawless evening netted the Brazilian 48 Velocity Global points. 

The second spot on the podium was split between Damien Krushall (Wharton, Texas) and Nicolas Hernandez (Buenavista, Mexico). 

Krushall topped Elkins 193 (Philip Elkins) for a round-winning 83.5 points in Round 1 while Hernandez matched him aboard  (Barthold & Eldred)ECF 41, also for 83.5 points. 

While the Mexican cowboy was unable to ride in the second round, Krushall stormed out of the chutes on Hey Jack (Wyloh Ranch) but was bucked off after 2.76 seconds. 

Both riders left Cowtown Coliseum with 29.5 Velocity Global points.

In fourth place was Jean Carlos de Souza (Mirante Do Paranapanema, Brazil). 

Tasked with ECF C15 (Barthold & Eldred), the Brazilian cowboy made the 8 for 80 points in Round 1. 

In his final out, Souza surged out of the chutes atop Wyloh H807 (Wyloh Ranch) but was bested after 3.42 seconds. 

Souza garnered 19 Velocity Global points. 

Rounding out the Top 5 was Frederico Araujo Margarido (Santa Luzia, Brazil). 

After riding ECF B34 (Barthold & Eldred) for 79 points in Round 1, Margarido was bucked off by Wyloh H25 (Wyloh Ranch) in 3.52 seconds during Round 2. 

He returned home with 15 Velocity Global points. 

Velocity Global points contribute to the Velocity Global Standings and determine which new riders are added to the elite Unleash The Beast throughout the season. The Top 3 Velocity Global riders who have not already qualified are also invited to the PBR World Finals in May. 

In the bull pen, ECF 51 (Barthold & Eldred) and Omaha Beach (Rafter C Cattle) were both marked 43 points for their opening round buckoffs to split the Bull of the Event title. 

The PBR Stockyards Showcase returns on Thursday, March 20. Action inside Cowtown Coliseum will get underway at 7:30 p.m. CT.
