Martha Angelone wins third consecutive Women's Rodeo World Championship All-Around title

AT&T Stadium Championship Roster announced Wednesday.

FORT WORTH, Texas – After a thrilling, record-breaking season, Martha Angelone solidified her legacy by earning her third consecutive Women’s Rodeo World Championship (WRWC) All-Around World Championship title. With a commanding performance on the final day in Fort Worth, Angelone claimed the prestigious title along with the coveted $20,000 cash bonus. All results can be found HERE.

The WRWC also officially announced its 2025 World Champions and the roster of athletes who have advanced to compete in the Championship Round at AT&T Stadium on Saturday, May 17. Each champion will walk away with a $60,000 prize:

Entering the WRWC with 35,595.68 All-Around points, Martha Angelone (Stephenville, TX) continued her reign in Pro Breakaway Roping. A 2.07-second run in Round 1 placed her third and earned $1,000. She followed with a 3.34 in Round 2 and stayed consistent through the semifinals. Finishing with 38,057.68 All-Around points, Angelone captured her fourth consecutive WRWC Breakaway World Championship, capping off one of the most dominant runs in event history.

Katelyn Perkins (Morristown, AZ) entered with 12,779.50 Pro Team Roping Heading points and delivered in every round. She ran a 7.18 in Round 2 (2nd place, $1,250), a 7.34 in the semifinals (4th, $750), and a fifth-place average (114.52) that added $1,000. She closed out the WRWC with 16,749.50 points, securing her first WRWC Pro Heading World Championship buckle.

Jimmi Jo Montera (Greeley, CO) added her second WRWC World Championship in Pro Heeling. Her best performance came with header Megan Gunter (McCammon, ID) in Round 2, stopping the clock at 11.08 seconds and earning $500. She entered with 20,696.25 points and finished with 22,732.25, securing the Pro Heeling World Champion title.


Makenzie Mayes (Scroggins, TX) maintained her edge in Pro Barrel Racing. With runs of 13.465 and 13.567 in Rounds 1 and 2, and a blistering 13.103 in the semifinals (2nd place, $2,000), she held her spot in the standings. Her 40.135 average earned her an additional $1,500. Mayes began with 10,374.00 points and closed with 14,880.00, earning her the Pro Barrel Racing World Champion title.

Wylie Jo Hodges (Bloomburg, TX) rose through the Challenger Breakaway ranks with runs of 3.15, 2.37, and 2.19 seconds across three rounds. She earned $6,000 total and advanced from 2,963.00 to 9,261.00 points, claiming the Challenger Breakaway World Championship.

Returning WRWC veteran Ashtyn Pratz (La Mesa, NM) earned the 2025 Challenger Header World Championship a year after winning the Challenger Heeler title. Her semifinal run of 14.88 seconds earned $500, and a 35.36-second average brought in $2,500 more. She entered with 9,268 points and exited with 13,742. 

Shanna Perkins (Geneva, ID) earned the Challenger Heeling World Championship, finishing with 9,087.75 points. Her performance as a header contributed to a total event paycheck of $2,250.

Kelsey Howard (Sallisaw, OK) topped the Challenger Barrel Racing field. Her runs—13.444 in Round 1 (1st, $2,500), 13.492 in Round 2, and 13.38 in the semi-finals (3rd, $1,250)—earned her the average title and $3,500 more. Howard started the event with 2,502 points, earned 6,698 during competition, and ended with 9,200.00, capturing the Challenger Barrel Racing World Championship.
