FORT WORTH, Texas – As the 2025 PBR (Professional Bull Riders) World Finals: Unleash The Beast continued Friday night for Round 2 of Eliminations, teenage phenom and world No. 3 John Crimber (Decatur, Texas) continued to ride red-hot. Improving to a perfect 2-for-2 as he delivered the second-best score of the night, Crimber gained further ground in the race for the 2025 World Championship as the two riders he is chasing bucked off again and remain scoreless at Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas.
Crimber, who rides for the Florida Freedom in the separate PBR Teams league, began the night atop the Eliminations leaderboard after tying for the Round 1 win with an 88-point ride on Spunky Energy (Cornwell Bucking Bulls). The young Texan improved to a perfect 2-for-2 Friday evening when he bested Walk Hard (Ace of Spades/McGuire/Martinez) for 89.25 points, the second-best score of Round 2.
Now second in the Eliminations standings, a dialed-in Crimber earned 48 Unleash The Beast points for his latest 8-second effort. He now trails No. 1 Dalton Kasel (Muleshoe, Texas) by 375 points.
Kasel and No. 2 Brady Fielder (Clermont, Queensland, Australia) remain shut out at the 2025 PBR World Finals. During Round 2 of Eliminations, Kasel was bucked off by Top Dollar (Hookin’ W Ranch/DeHoff/Beach) in a close 6.16 seconds, while Fielder came down in a heartbreaking 7.13 seconds on Nobody (Snyder Family/Gene Owen Bucking Bulls), the second straight night Fielder came within a second of a qualified ride.
Fellow teen sensation Clay Guiton (Cherryville, North Carolina) overtook the lead at Eliminations after delivering the event’s first 90-point ride to win Round 2.
"This means the world to me. I’ve been looking forward to this. I mean for the last year especially, but since I’ve been little,” said Guiton. “The difference a year makes is crazy. I’m blessed to be here. I looked at that cut line, and I decided that’s not where I should be. I shouldn’t be fighting for a spot on tour, I should be fighting for a world title. I kicked it into gear the last couple of weeks, and it’s working out.”
The Carolina Cowboys rider began Round 2 of Eliminations in seventh place courtesy of an 86.75-point Round 1 ride on Rock ‘n Roll (Raymond & Coy Henry/Lidgard). Guiton then brought the capacity crowd inside Cowtown Coliseum to its feet when he delivered the high-marked ride of the event, besting Eyes On Me (Blake Sharp/Hanks) for a monstrous 91.25 points.
Guiton earned 89 Unleash The Beast points on the second night of the 2025 PBR World Finals and rose from No. 9 to No. 5 in the World Championship race. He is now 547 points behind No. 1 Kasel.
Hudson Bolton (Milan, Tennessee), Koltin Hevalow (McAlester, Oklahoma) and Jose Vitor Leme (Ribas do Rio Pardo, Brazil) are the remaining three riders to be a perfect 2-for-2 thus far at Eliminations.
Bolton is currently third in the event. In Round 2, the New York Maverick was third, riding Fringe Minority (Sterk Bucking Bulls) for 88.75 points to collect 44 Unleash The Beast points. He rose from No. 24 to No. 20 in the standings and is No. 2 in the Rookie of the Year race, now just 14.33 points behind No. 1 rookie Anderson de Oliveira (Novo Mundo, Brazil).
The Kansas City Outlaws’ Hevalow is fourth following his 87-point ride on Baldy (Blake Sharp/UB Bucking Company/Huff Bulls) in Round 2 of Eliminations, good for 32 Unleash The Beast points. He remained No. 21 in the standings.

Two-time PBR World Champion and Austin Gamblers standout Leme converted on Flapjack (Parker/OK Corralis/Gordon/D&H Cattle) for 87.5 points on Friday evening, the fifth-best score. Leaving Cowtown Coliseum with 36 Unleash The Beast points, he climbed from No. 19 to No. 14 in the standings, moving within the cutline for an automatic berth to AT&T Stadium for the Championship on May 17-18.
Friday night’s Eliminations action featured the first out for seven of the Top 10 bulls in the world vying to be the YETI PBR World Champion Bull. Reigning titleholder Man Hater (Jane Clark/Gene Owen) showed why he is the current world No. 1 by delivering the high-marked bull score to date at the 2025 PBR World Finals, marked 45 points for his 2.25-second buckoff of Austin Richardson (Dallas, Texas). Man Hater now leads No. 2 Fast Flow (Outlaw/Lone Star Matejka/AFCO) by 1.78 points.
As an ABBI (American Bucking Bull Inc.) Classic competitor, Fast Flow bucked in Round 1, marked 44.5 points after bucking off Ethan Winckler (Winnie, Texas) in 2.41 seconds.
During PBR World Finals – Eliminations, each of the 45 competing bull riders will attempt one bull nightly.
Following the four rounds of action, the Top 15 in the Unleash The Beast standings and Top 5 in the Eliminations aggregate not already advancing will directly punch their ticket to the 2025 PBR World Finals – Championship on May 17-18 in nearby Arlington at AT&T Stadium, which will crown the 2025 World Champion and World Finals event winner.
