Starting lineups, draw revealed for 2025 PBR World Finals: Unleash The Beast – Championship Day 1

Can No. 1 Dalton Kasel put the finishing touches on what’s been quite the standout 2025 campaign inside AT&T Stadium May 17-18?

By James Youness

FORT WORTH, Texas – After seeing Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo set the opening night bar with an action-packed session of thrills, chills and automobiles, the best bull riders in the world are set to take center stage with one common goal:

Securing the Jerome Robinson Cup.

Which means: Ladies and gentlemen, we’ve made it.

The 2025 PBR World Finals: Unleash The Beast — Championship has arrived. Which also means we’re now less than 48 hours from crowning the 2025 PBR World Champion, Rookie of the Year and several other event and season-based award-winners.

Knowing the Austin Gamblers standout in No. 1 Dalton Kasel brings just a 238-point lead over No. 2 Brady Fielder into Saturday’s opening two rounds reminds us that the gold buckle is 100% still up for grabs.

And with a maximum of 756 UTB points available to any one rider this weekend, each of the tour’s Top 10 talents remain in contention for the season-ending honors.

Even though it would require fans witnessing one of the most historic bull riding performances in PBR history for any of No. 10 Keyshawn Whitehorse (-711 points), No. 9 Cort McFadden (-704.92 points) or No. 8 Paulo Eduardo Rossetto (-692.75 points), the dream remains alive, as they each remain within striking distance.

2025 PBR Unleash The Beast Standings:
1. Dalton Kasel (1383 points)
2. Brady Fielder (1145 points)
3. John Crimber (907 points)
4. Clay Guiton (882 points)
5. Sage Steele Kimzey (768.25 points)
6. Jose Vitor Leme (760 points)
7. Luciano De Castro (709.83 points)
8. Paulo Eduardo Rossetto (690.25 points)
9. Cort McFadden (678.08 points)
10. Keyshawn Whitehorse (672 points)

Representing the 700+ UTB point tier with slightly more realistic chances of exiting Jerry World with the most prized honors in the sport, No. 7 Luciano De Castro (-673.17 points), No. 6 Jose Vitor Leme (-623 points) and No. 5 Sage Steele Kimzey (-614.75 points) are still very much in the mix with 400 UTB points available to Sunday’s eventual aggregate winner.

Despite knowing guys who qualified via the tour’s mid-week Ride For Redemption will likely bring along some fiery steam after securing their spot just two days back, it’s hard to argue that Leme isn’t bringing the heaviest-hitting momentum into Saturday’s slate after ripping off an insane 4-for-4 stint en route to claiming the Eliminations event title.

The only other man to stay perfect throughout the four-day showcase, No. 4 Clay Guiton (-501 points), occupies the No. 4 spot as of now. Looking to make the most of his draft-selected date with Good Riddance in Round 1, will the red-headed menace find himself shooting up the UTB standings after Saturday’s opening two rounds?

Or will he stay locked into a grouping with his best friend in No. 3 John Crimber (-476 points), who leads Guiton by just 25 points? Rocking a notable arm sling since putting the finishing touches on his 2-for-4, seventh-place finish inside Cowtown Coliseum, he’s opted into a showdown with July in Round 1 before looking to reignite some fire in the second perf aboard Miller Time

However, none of the suggested tiers, matchups or any of it will matter if the tour’s established top dawg in Kasel knocks his opportunities with Fringe Minority and Hunting Trip out of the park, as each and every time Kasel records a qualified ride, the pack’s collective odds of catching him diminish.

Tens of thousands of fans have travelled to the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex this weekend for one thing: To find out who will be crowned the 2025 PBR World Champion.

And with just mere hours separating the premier series pack from beginning the final stretch of season-culminating action, it’s once again BULL TIME in The Lone Star State!

Lineups and draw are in for the first two rounds of the 2025 PBR World Finals: Unleash The Beast – Championship showcase, so we’re taking a closer look at Saturday night’s matchups, rematches and everything you need to know ahead of Day 1’s gold buckle-deciding opener.
