FORT WORTH, Texas – After missing a major chunk of the season due to injury, two-time World Champion Jose Vitor Leme is NOT playing around during this year’s Eliminations drama.
In fact, squarely positioned into the No. 13 rank ahead of Sunday’s fourth and final go, he’s extremely likely to continue his spicy run inside AT&T Stadium, as he’s currently positioned to qualify by both his Top 15 rank and a Top 5 effort in this weekend’s aggregate.
Eliminations Event Leaderboard:
1. Clay Guiton (265.25 points)
2. Jose Vitor Leme (261.75 points)
3. John Crimber (177.25 points)
4. Hudson Bolton (176.75 points)
5. Kaiden Loud (175.75 points)
Considering he’s second on the big board leading into Championship Sunday and just one of two men with 3-for-3 starts, alongside No. 5 Clay Guiton, we’d say the Austin Gamblers star has been effectively saving some juice to let it loose throughout these final eight showdowns.
Set to dance with Pegasus during Championship Sunday’s slate while trailing Guiton by a mere 3.5 points in the aggregate, he’s keeping himself in the running for those ever-important, event-ending UTB points.
Despite tons of dramatic outs and race-impacting scenarios left to play out in Round 4, only seven men have a mathematical shot of capturing the opening-stage win due to Guiton and Leme’s flawless runs so far.
Knowing this afternoon’s eventual winner collects 200 UTB points means someone’s going to get one hell of a leg up when it comes to the World Championship race. And with the runner-up rider taking home 125 UTB points, plenty of dents can be made to No. 1 Dalton Kasel’s lead, depending on who exits Cowtown Coliseum via podium placements.
Of course, seeing both Kasel and No. 2 Brady Fielder come alive in Round 3 reminded Leme, Guiton and just about every other bull rider in the building that there’s plenty of work to be done.
With both of the Top 2-ranked cowboys coming off odd 0-for-2 starts on the weekend, Kasel stamped the scoresheet by covering The Kraken (88.75 points), while Fielder survived the 8 aboard Bueno (86 points).

Which means the pair of season-long standouts will continue to defend their respective leads atop the pack when Championship Sunday’s slate inside Cowtown Coliseum begins!
2025 PBR Unleash The Beast Standings:
1. Dalton Kasel (1302 points)
2. Brady Fielder (1145 points)
3. John Crimber (883 points)
4. Sage Steele Kimzey (768.25 points)
5. Clay Guiton (737 points)
6. Luciano De Castro (709.83 points)
7. Paulo Eduardo Rossetto (690.25 points)
8. Cort McFadden (678.08 points)
9. Keyshawn Whitehorse (672 points)
10. Andrew Alvidrez (600.75 points)
Just two spots outside the Top 10, yet currently inside the Top 15, thus giving himself a solid chance of securing a spot within next weekend’s Championship finale, No. 12 Austin Richardson skyrocketed four positions Saturday night, courtesy of his round-winning, 90.25-point dance with Rank Frank.
After seeing the pack combine for just 17 total rides during Round 1 and 2, the boys kicked things up a notch during the third perf, besting 13 of 39 attempted bovines.
It’s not an eye-popping rate, per se, but the bulls deserve some sincere credit, as they’ve been strutting their stuff throughout each of the first three rounds.
With the fourth iteration of competition set to feature another rank pen, the world’s top-ranked animal athletes will be out in full force once again Sunday. Knowing they surrendered just seven conversions the first time around suggests riders are going to need to work for it. Each and every second along the way!
With several cowboys doctored out of Round 4, including Paulo Eduardo Rossetto, Anderson de Oliveira, Eduardo Aparecido, Leandro Zampollo, Afonso Quintino, Dawson Branton and Michael Lane, a pathway to Jerry World is that much clearer for those who can show up and show out, with just 38 men set to give it a go in Round 4.
All we have to do now is pack the historic venue one last time and see which 20 contestants will be onto AT&T Stadium and who’s sticking around for next week’s Ride For Redemption.
