Starting lineups, draw revealed for 2025 PBR World Finals: Unleash The Beast – Ride For Redemption Day 2

The final showdown ahead of this weekend’s Championship finale looms Thursday, May 15 inside Cowtown Coliseum.

FORT WORTH, Texas – Five nights have come and gone within the Fort Worth Stockyards.

Which means Thursday’s sixth and final performance inside Cowtown Coliseum offers the last opportunity for riders to secure a spot competing at AT&T Stadium May 17-18.

Enter an extra level of drama as the five men who advanced from Wednesday’s opening Ride For Redemption session must now successfully ride their Round 1 bull in order to keep their name in the running against the remainder of the field which is returning to competition for the first time since Eliminations.

Representing the five Ride For Redemption outsiders set to mix it up with the remaining cowboys who didn’t advance via last week’s Eliminations competition includes the likes of Maverick Smith, Bob Mitchell, Murillo Henrique de Oliveira, Yan Victor Cunha and Callum Miller

Each of whom rose above the tide Wednesday amongst the pack of 22 contenders.

A guy like Smith, who’s just 21 years old and had drawn into just one PBR-sanctioned event all season long, has to be happy with a 2-for-2 performance-topping effort during his UTB debut.

Having been afforded some PBR Teams looks throughout the 2024 season after being drafted by the New York Mavericks, the freshly inked Missouri Thunder representative made the most of his squad’s invite to the second of three World Finals showcases.

Joining Mitchell as the only man to knock down both of his bulls, it doesn’t matter that he and Mitchell both settled for unideal Round 2 conversions, as their flawless state allowed them to advance to tonight’s competition.

Oliveira, Cunha and Miller are all very much capable of continuing their own respective runs when the second night of action rolls around.

Of course, the other 18 men set to give it a go each ended the 2025 regular season ranked within the Top 40, meaning there are plenty of surefire talents lurking in Cowtown when the two groups are combined into one field.

Which of said established riders will challenge the new kids on the block while taking advantage of the dramatic concluding session remains to be seen.

But with 2022 PBR World Champion Daylon Swearingen and more than a dozen accomplished and well-known veterans returning to action, we have a feeling guys will need two scores if they ultimately hope to advance to the Championship.

We’re talking about proven veterans like Joao Ricardo Vieira, who’s set to challenge Judgement Day in Round 1 before preparing for a rematch against Wild Card. Looking to add another Florida Freedom representative to this weekend’s finale, will he be able to make the most of Thursday’s pair of opportunities in order to join his new teammate John Crimber inside Jerry World?

Primed to embrace two separate rematches on Day 2, the New York Mavericks’ Leonardo Castro hasn’t bested either Blowhard (Round 1) or Taz (Round 2) quite yet. But with 6-plus-second attempts logged atop both bovines, he’s got two shots for redemption within the dire stakes showcase.

Lineups and draw are in for the closing rounds of the 2025 PBR World Finals: Unleash The Beast – Ride For Redemption showcase, so we’re taking a closer look at Thursday night’s matchups, rematches and everything you need to know ahead of Day 2’s “ride or go home” slate!
