FORT WORTH, Texas – As the countdown continues for the 2025 PBR (Professional Bull Riders) World Finals: Unleash The Beast – returning to Texas for the fifth historic appearance starting May 8 – the organization has unveiled the elite lineup of more than 130 world-class bovine athletes set to compete at the sport’s most prestigious, season-ending showdown.
Alongside the riders, who will be vying for the 2025 PBR World Championship and $1 million bonus, the PBR’s fiercest bulls will also be competing for the 2025 YETI PBR World Champion Bull honor and accompanying $100,000 bonus.
The field is led by reigning YETI PBR World Champion and powerhouse No. 1 Man Hater, who is attempting to become just the seventh back-to-back World Champion Bull in PBR history. Man Hater leads No. 2 Fast Flow by a commanding 1.94 average ride-score points. Dominant in nearly every trip, Man Hater has appeared at nine Unleash The Beast events during the regular season, earning the YETI “Built for the Wild” Bull of the Event honor during eight of those outings. Only four bull scores of 48-plus points have been recorded during the 2025 title campaign, and all of them belong to Man Hater. The dominant bull turned heads throughout the season, including a record-setting performance in September when he posted an unprecedented 49.5-point score for his 2.41 seconds of work against seven-time PRCA World Champion and current PBR world No. 4 Sage Steele Kimzey.
While not in contention for the World Championship, the bull pen will also feature Dana White’s Playmate, who will be making his World Finals debut. UFC’s President Dana White purchased the dominant 5-year-old from D&H Cattle Company earlier this season. Dana White’s Playmate is the son of three-time PBR World Champion and Brand of Honor recipient SweetPro’s Bruiser (D&H Cattle Co./Buck Cattle Co.).
Since making his PBR debut in July 2024, Dana White’s Playmate has been selected to buck at 11 events and has been ridden only once. That lone ride came in February in Salt Lake City, Utah, when Kimzey broke the bull’s unridden streak with a massive 91-point effort. The 2025 YETI PBR World Champion Bull will be the animal with the highest average bull score from his highest-scored eight outs logged during the 2024 Camping World Team Series and 2025 Unleash The Beast regular season, and their top two scores out of three outs at the 2025 PBR World Finals.
The top bucking bulls competing at the World Finals will receive three outs, and World Champion contenders will be able to drop their lowest score in Texas.
The 2025 PBR World Finals will also anoint a YETI “Built for the Wild” Bull of the Finals, who will be presented with a $25,000 bonus for posting the top combined score based on his three outs at the season-culminating event.
Man Hater, who bucked to a commanding 48-point world average, will travel to World Finals having been ridden just three times in his 14 eligible outs for the 2025 title, all for 93.5 points or more.
The powerful animal athlete has been the undeniable front-runner for the coveted title since the 2024 PBR Camping World Team Series got underway, winning a combined 12 YETI “Built for the Wild” Bull of the Event honors, nine more than any other bull in the PBR.
Man Hater has single-handedly delivered the Top 7 bull scores of the season, with four of those outs marked 48 points or more.
In his first out of the new season in Oklahoma City in mid-July, Man Hater delivered a statement trip, tossing Casey Roberts in a quick 3 seconds to earn an impressive 48.75-point bull score.
After two subsequent trips, Man Hater made his way to Kansas City, Missouri, in early September. Paired with Kimzey, Man Hater burst from the chutes delivering the top all-time score from a PBR bucking bull, marked 49.5 points.
Following a near three-week break, Man Hater made history yet again. While he didn’t break his score record from the previous weekend, he delivered a red-hot 49.25-point effort when covered by 2024 PBR World Champion Cassio Dias for a mammoth 98.25 points, the second-highest marked ride in the organization’s history.
Dias was the first rider to cover Man Hater in his 2025 title campaign. In early March, Andrew Alvidrez reached the requisite 8 atop the bull for 94 points, as Man Hater added a 45.75-point bull score, while most recently world No. 1 Dalton Kasel bested the bovine for 93.5 points in early April, when Man Hater posted a 45.5-point score in his final trip of the regular season.
The remaining Top 10 active contenders in the YETI PBR World Champion Bull race set to compete at the World Finals are: No. 2 Fast Flow (46.06-point average | -1.94 points); No. 3 Mike’s Magic (45.41-point average | -2.59 points); No. 4 Ricky Vaughn (45.25-point average | -2.75 points); No. 5 Ridin’ Salty (45.16-point average | -2.84 points); No. 6 Buck Nasty (45.13-point average | -2.87 points); No. 7 Big Bank (45.06-point average | -2.94 points); No. 8 Doze You Down (44.94-point average | -3.06 points); No. 9 UTZ BesTex Smokestack (44.84-point average | -3.16 points); and No. 10 Big Chili (44.78-point average | -3.22 points).
As an added layer of excitement, ABBI (American Bucking Bull Inc.) will buck roughly 27 bulls during Round 1 of the 2025 PBR World Finals – Eliminations on May 8, when the top 4- and 5-year-old up-and-coming bulls will go up against the best riders in the world. These four-legged athletes will compete for an estimated purse of more than $60,000.
Bovines to watch for include reigning ABBI Classic World Champion and current world No. 3 King Tut, current No. 1 in the ABBI Classic standings Yahoo, in addition to No. 3 Fast Flow, Dana White’s Playmate and Slick Rick.
During the 2025 PBR World Finals, the ABBI will also hold the second $1 Million Futurity on Sunday, May 11 at 9 a.m. CT at Cowtown Coliseum. This premier competition will showcase 31 of ABBI’s top 2-year-old animal athletes in the richest one-day competition of the 2025 season, where the winning bull will earn $250,000.
