#InCaseYouMissedIt: 2025 UTB awards, ranks offer preview into approaching PBR Teams season

Miss a moment of the action last week? Here’s what happened around the PBR:

By James Youness

From afar, PBR’s eight-week “offseason” may appear to be in full affect, with competition slowing down a bit as June represents the lone month on the calendar where premier series showdowns aren’t dominating headlines. That, however, isn’t stopping squads throughout the camaraderie-driven landscape from starting up respective training camp efforts. And with PBR.com strolling down memory lane lately recapping standout efforts from the 2024 PBR Camping World Team Series and the 2025 Unleash The Beast campaign, it’s a good time to figure out exactly who will be representing your favorite of 10 squads when the fourth season of 5-on-5 action kicks off next month at Wildcatter Days, July 11-13!

On PBR Camping World Team Series …

Of the Top 40-ranked UTB riders at the conclusion of the 2025 PBR World Finals: Unleash The Beast, seven different riders are set to suit up for the defending 2024 PBR Teams Champion Austin Gamblers this summer.

The 2023 season’s bragging rights may belong to the Texas Rattlers thanks to heroics from Daniel Keeping, Joao Ricardo Vieira and friends, but it was the Australian Brady Fielder who added a trophy to the Rattlers’ collection in 2024, courtesy of his Great 8 Award.

Meanwhile within individual competition …

A pair of international cowboys in Brady Fielder and three-time World Champion Jose Vitor Leme produced matching 91-pointers inside AT&T Stadium to share this season’s Brent Thurman/Lane Frost Award honors.

Set to help athletes throughout the Western sports world take the next step, PBR recently announced a new partnership with Champion Living Fitness as the organization’s Official Training App of PBR Rider Development.

With Colorado State University and Fort Collins, Colorado, preparing to host some of the best bull riders in the world next month at Last Cowboy Standing, fans shouldn’t forget how action-packed the “ride or go home” platform is. Not to mention a pair of country music legends set to perform!

And on PBR Canada …

PBR Canada veteran Dakota Buttar didn’t waste any time getting his productive weekend started in London, Ontario, after securing the Round 1 honors north of the border.

The 32-year-old was feeling it when Saturday’s slate rolled around just the same, eventually exiting the showdown with his first win since February.
