MILL SPRING, N.C. – When dust settled at Tryon International in Mill Spring, North Carolina, Saturday night, Jefferson Silva (Pontese Lacerda, Brazil) and Michael Lane (Tazewell, Virginia) emerged the supreme competitors, tying for the event win at the Challenger Series’ PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Tryon, powered by Stuller Power Solutions. 

Both Silva and Lane logged round-winning, 84-point rides to clinch the event-victory and 93 points in the race for the 2025 PBR Challenger Series Championship. 

Silva logged his score in Round 1, covering Big Reputation (Blake Sharp/Hanks), while Lane dominated Round 2 when he bested Bucking Bill (Lucas Manning Bucking Bulls). 

As the only other rider to convert, Caleb Cantrell (Honea Path, South Carolina) was third. 

Going 1-for-3, Cantrell made the whistle in Round 2 when he topped Great Balls of Fire (Davis Rodeo Ranch) for 82 points. 

Cantrell returned to South Carolina with 54 Challenger Global points.
