FORT WORTH, Texas – FOX Nation has signed its first deal in the live sports arena, becoming the exclusive Friday night broadcast partner for the PBR Camping World Team Series.
Beginning Friday, Aug. 8, “PBR Friday Night Live” will debut in Sunrise, Fla. – the third event of the new PBR Teams season – and will continue weekly through the fall with 10 Friday night broadcasts across the country, culminating in the league’s championship opener Oct. 24 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

For the new season’s first two Fridays in Oklahoma City and Duluth, fans will be able to WATCH LIVE on various digital platforms including YouTube, X and the official PBR app, available on mobile, Google TV, Apple TV, Fire TV and Roku, as well as PBR RidePass, available on Pluto TV, The Roku Channel, Vizio’s WatchFree, Fubo, Xumo Play and more — distribution similar to the recently concluded Unleash the Beast season.

FOX Nation’s slate of games will complement 11 hours of PBR Teams action set to air on CBS Television Network during the upcoming season, which begins July 11 in Oklahoma City. Games not airing on FOX Nation or CBS will stream on digital platforms, while PBR continues discussions with a potential broadcast partner for Saturday and Sunday events.
In the lead-up to its live weekly team coverage, FOX Nation will also release Season 2 of its reality competition series “Last Cowboy Standing” beginning Friday, July 11.
The 10-episode series follows eight amateur bull riders as they compete in a series of rides and one-of-a-kind challenges. The winner receives a fast pass into the premier individual competition, Unleash the Beast, and a chance to join a PBR team. Viewers will get behind-the-scenes access to the riders’ journeys as they try to avoid elimination and chase their dreams.
“We could not ask for a better partner to kick off our first foray into live sports,” said Lauren Petterson, FOX Nation president. “PBR is an incredibly unique sport with an unrivaled, passionate fan base, and it’s a great addition to the entire FOX Nation viewer experience.”
Sean Gleason, PBR CEO and commissioner, said, “We’re thrilled to build on our strong partnership with FOX Nation to deliver live coverage of Friday Night Teams and the second season of Last Cowboy Standing. Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo was a breakout hit in May for FOX Nation, proving their audience is eager for exciting Western sports content. The FOX platform is a perfect stage to showcase our athletes’ stories of grit, courage and determination.”
FOX Nation, launched in 2018, is a direct-to-consumer, on-demand streaming service designed to complement the FOX News Channel with exclusive content for its most passionate fans.
FOX Nation plans start at $4.99 per month. U.S. military members, veterans and first responders can receive their first year free.
“We’re very excited that along with bringing fans Friday night Teams events live and offering compelling shoulder programming such as Last Cowboy Standing, FOX will be actively promoting our sport across its broader network,” Gleason said. “This valuable exposure is another boost for an expanding sport moving into the mainstream.”
