Austin Gamblers take sole possession of first place atop PBR Camping World Team Series standings with fifth-straight win

Missouri Thunder close out home stand by beating in-state rival Kansas City Outlaws while Oklahoma Wildcatters stay red hot with sixth win in last seven games.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. The sizzling Austin Gamblers won their fifth straight game to take sole possession of first atop the 2025 Camping World Team Series Standings with a 13-4 record, defeating the New York Mavericks 174.25 - 86 today to close out Thunder Days at Great Southern Bank Arena.   

Two rides was all it took for the Gamblers with Lucas Divino first scoring atop Yo Mamma for 87.75 points. Jose Vitor Leme, the reigning three-time World Champion, clinched the game with 86.5 points on Rafiki. The Gamblers have now won 11 of their last 12 games. 

The Texas Rattlers reached their 10th win of the season to improve to 10-7 with a 348.5-86.75 showing against the Carolina Cowboys, who fell to 6-11. Brady Fielder started the game with an 87.5-point ride on Toad, his second ride of the weekend and 11th of the season. Carolina’s Jess Lockwood responded with an 86.75-point ride to keep the game close. Claudio Montanha Jr. then rode Cash On Black for 85.25 to extend Texas’ lead. A qualified 88-point ride by Braidy Randolph against Scrappy put the game out of reach for the Cowboys followed by Ezekiel Mitchell riding the team’s fourth bull atop Let’s Ride for 87.75 points to complete the 348.5 – 86.75 victory. 

In a game full of re-ride options and plenty of rides, the Florida Freedom (12-5) returned to their winning ways by going 4-for-5 in a 330-170.5 win over the Arizona Ridge Riders (12-5). Florida’s four rides were recorded by Yan Victor Cunha (89), Thiago Salgado (87.25), Alex Cerqueira (77.5), and João Ricardo Vieira (76.25). Arizona picked up a pair of rides by Everton Natan da Silva for 85.5 and Riquelme Santos for 85. 

The Oklahoma Wildcatters continued surging, winning their third consecutive game and sixth of their last seven, rising to a 7-10 record in beating Nashville Stampede 256.5-86.25. Guilherme Vallerias recorded the highest score with 87.5 against Tchoupitoulas with Wingson Henrique da Silva (84.75) besting Still Flyin’ Crazy, and Kase Hitt scoring 84.25 points on Buck.  Nashville fell to 6-11. 

The Missouri Thunder (7-10) only needed one ride to best the 8-9 Kansas City Outlaws 85.5-81 on home turf in the Thunder Days finale. Paulo Eduardo Rossetto lasted eight aboard Mystified for 85.5 while the Outlaws’ Heitor Santos Ferreira earned 81 on Snappy in a losing cause. 

The PBR Camping World Team Series resumes action in Anaheim California, Sep. 5-7 with PBR Teams: Anaheim. Competition Friday begins at 7:45 p.m. PT Sep. 5; Saturday, Sep. 6 at 6:45 p.m. PT; and Sunday, Sep. 7 at 1:15 p.m. PT.
