NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Under the bright lights of Music City, Stampede Days opened on FOX Nation Friday night with a performance that delivered everything fans could hope for – drama, surprises, and history in the making. From the first out to the last, the energy inside the arena was electric, and fans left with plenty to talk about heading into the weekend.
Throughout Stampede Days, key moments from each performance truly stood out. Here are my three takeaways from Night One at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee:
1. Dalton Kasel Delivers Yet Again
The first game of the night featured the Austin Gamblers and “Mr. 90 Points” himself, Dalton Kasel. Looking at the draw prior to the event, it was clear Kasel had one of the best matchups, and he took full advantage. With a phenomenal effort, he lit up the board with a 90-point ride aboard Doze You Down, setting the tone for the evening and reminding everyone why he’s one of the most electric riders in the sport.
2. Arizona Escapes Nashville to Stay No. 1
The second standout moment came from the Arizona Ridge Riders, who remained the league’s top team with an 8-1 record. But their night was far from flawless. Arizona and Nashville each managed two qualified rides, leaving the matchup tied on bull count.
In the end, the Ridge Riders escaped with a victory on total points alone, exposing a few cracks in the armor of the No. 1 squad. For Nashville, strong efforts from Cody Jesus and Alan de Souza weren’t enough, as closer Austin Richardson once again came up short, continuing a frustrating trend that has plagued him through the first four stops of the season.
3. Texas Rattlers Make History
And finally, the number one thing that stood out most on Friday night was pure history. The Texas Rattlers became just the eighth team in PBR Camping World Team Series history to post a perfect 5-for-5 performance, and they remain the only team to ever accomplish the feat three times.
Anytime you can make history, it’s going to stand out above everything else – and Texas did it in dominant fashion, leaving no doubt that they came to Nashville to do their job.
On Saturday, all eyes were on Carolina. After a frustrating loss, the Cowboys returned to face Nashville in front of one of the loudest crowds in the league. They were fired up, but the Stampede faithful was rallying behind their home team, hoping to spark a much-needed turnaround.
As the weekend unfolded, one truth remains clear: in PBR Teams, every out matters, every jump matters, every second matters.
Broadway Boys of Nashville Defended Their Home Dirt After Narrow Loss
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Night Two from Bridgestone Arena was electric from start to finish, as a sold-out crowd rallied behind their home team, the Nashville Stampede. Saturday’s performance was marked by intensity, physicality, and history in the making. From hard-fought rides to dramatic finishes, the action left fans buzzing and set the stage for a high-stakes Championship Sunday.
Here are the three things that stood out to me the most from Night Two of Stampede Days in Nashville:
1. Nashville Earns a Much-Needed Upset
The Stampede delivered just their third win of the season, taking down the Carolina Cowboys in front of their roaring home crowd with a dramatic walk-off win. Cody Jesus was 89 points on that clutch ride in the bottom of the fifth to earn the highest-marked ride of the night, propelling Justin McBride’s squad to one of the biggest upsets of the year. The question then became: can the Nashville Stampede build on this momentum and turn one victory into two in facing Missouri on Championship Sunday?
2. Texas Falters After Historic Performance
Just one night after becoming the first team in PBR Camping World Teams Series history to post three perfect 5-for-5 performances, the Texas Rattlers fell back to earth against the Kansas City Outlaws. Riding only 2-for-5, Texas was outmatched as Kansas City claimed the win on both scores and bull count. The loss was a reminder of just how quickly momentum can shift in the Teams Series, even for a squad capable of making history.
3. Arizona’s Streak Reaches Nine
The biggest storyline of the night belonged to the Arizona Ridge Riders, who extended their win streak to nine consecutive victories, moving to 9-1 on the season and securing the No. 2 spot all-time in league history for consecutive wins. An Arizona win on Sunday would tie Texas’s all-time record. That pursuit of history made them the team to watch, but it’s worth noting their last two victories came by the narrowest of margins, and luck has played a role. Still, nine wins in a row is undeniable — Arizona is the hottest team in the league.
Saturday night also underscored the physical toll of the sport. Both New York and Arizona left the dirt beaten, battered and bruised. Could they block that out of their minds for one more game on Championship Sunday?
With Texas stumbling after their perfect 5-for-5 Friday by going just 2-for-5 against the Kansas City Outlaws, the door was wide open for Arizona to keep rewriting the record books. And with both Nashville and Missouri entering Championship Sunday coming off wins, one of those teams had the chance to claim back-to-back victories — a rare feat at the bottom of the standings.
Bridgestone Arena has already delivered two unforgettable nights. Now, all eyes were turning to Championship Sunday on The CW Network (with a Tripleheader game of the week also being shown on CBS). Momentum, pride and history were all on the line.
Championship Sunday Would Not Disappoint with Another Nashville Walk-Off Win and Two Big Upsets
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Championship Sunday at Bridgestone Arena lived up to the hype and then some, as the PBR Camping World Team Series delivered a day full of upsets and surprises. On paper, several games seemed predictable, but in reality, nearly every underdog came out on top, shaking up the league picture in dramatic fashion.
Here are my three takeaways from the final day of Stampede Days in Nashville:
1. A Day of Upsets
From start to finish, Sunday was filled with shockers. Oklahoma picked up just their second win of the season by toppling Texas, proving that even the league’s most powerful teams can falter and any team can win on “any given Sunday.” Meanwhile, the New York Mavericks stunned the PBR world by notching back-to-back wins against Carolina and Kansas City — two teams that, on paper, should have overwhelmed them.
2. Nashville Finds Momentum
The Nashville Stampede delivered for their fans once again, defeating the Missouri Thunder for their second straight dramatic walk-off victory of the weekend. Cody Jesus was once again the clutch star knocking down the winning ride, while Austin Richardson appeared to flip a switch, riding with confidence and fire. Despite missing Kaden Loud due to injury, Nashville is showing signs of life, and the question now becomes whether they can carry this momentum into Stop No. 5 in Austin. Back-to-back wins on home dirt were exactly what the Stampede needed — now it’s about turning that spark into a streak.
3. Arizona’s Streak Snapped
The biggest shock of the weekend came when the Austin Gamblers handed the Arizona Ridge Riders their second loss of the season, snapping their nine-game win streak and ending their pursuit of tying Texas’s all-time record of 10 straight victories. Arizona, now 9-2, still sits atop the standings, but Sunday’s stumble was costly. A questionable re-ride decision may have sealed their fate, and what could have been a history-making moment slipped away.
Meanwhile, Austin quietly put together a perfect 3-for-3 weekend, even without key stars José Vitor Leme and Kaique Pacheco. Their rise back to the top of the standings feels inevitable, their roster depth is awe-inspiring, and this performance in Nashville was a clear warning shot to the rest of the league.
Championship Sunday capped off a weekend of high drama, unexpected twists, and unforgettable moments. Oklahoma’s upset of Texas, New York’s resilience, Nashville’s revival, and Austin’s dominance all reshaped the storylines heading into Austin next week.
Beyond the Arena
Beyond the arena, the Midwest Outdoors Adaptability Foundation is carrying forward the same spirit of resilience seen in bull riding — but in a way that changes lives off the dirt. The Foundation provides access to the Action Trackchair, a groundbreaking all-terrain wheelchair designed to give people with mobility challenges the freedom to experience the outdoors with almost no limitations to where you can go.
But here’s the harsh truth: no insurance will cover these life-changing pieces of equipment, and their hefty $25,000 price tag puts them out of reach for the very people who need them most. That is why the Midwest Outdoors Adaptability Foundation exists — to bridge that gap and make the impossible possible. Because you can’t put a price on freedom, independence, and living life to the fullest.
Whether it’s navigating rough pastures, rolling through wooded trails, or simply enjoying time with family in places a standard wheelchair can’t reach, the Action Trackchair opens doors to a level of independence many thought was lost. It’s not just equipment — it’s freedom, dignity, and the chance to live fully.
Just as PBR athletes push themselves to conquer challenges eight seconds at a time, the Midwest Outdoors Adaptability Foundation helps others overcome obstacles of their own, ensuring no one is left behind when it comes to the Western lifestyle and the outdoors.
