SUNRISE, Fla. – The Texas Rattlers and Arizona Ridge Riders, coming into the third event of the 2024 PBR Camping World Team Series regular season with 4-1 records, each won tonight at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida, to share first place in the league.

Texas (5-1) edged the Carolina Cowboys 169.25 – 168.50. The win was punctuated by the return of Brady Fielder, coming back from a broken leg after a mere two weeks on the sidelines. Fielder led off with a gutsy 83.5-point trip on Dirty Bru. In the top of the third, Daniel Keeping’s 85.75-point score on Napoleon was just enough to offset qualified rides from Carolina’s Adriano Salgado and Clay Guiton. The Cowboys fell to 3-3.

The Arizona Ridge Riders (5-1) came out on top of a thrilling finale in South Florida, defeating host Florida Freedom 256.50-254.75. To start the game, the Ridge Riders were propelled by back-to-back qualified rides from Everton Natan da Silva and Eduardo Aparecido, getting one more from Luciano De Castro. After Thiago Salgado and Alex Cerqueira made the eight, teenage phenom John Crimber had the chance to register his sixth career walk-off win in the bottom of the fifth. Crimber rode through the whistle on Red River, and the Florida crowd went nuts. But his 86-point score wasn’t enough, boos filled Amerant Bank Arena, and the Freedom fell by 1.75 points. They’re now 3-3 on the season.

The Kansas City Outlaws (4-2) and Austin Gamblers (3-3) both roared from the chutes in Florida, putting up four qualified each to win their games.  The Outlaws were one ride better than the Oklahoma Wildcatters (1-5) 337.75 – 260.75. Koltin Hevalow, Heitor Santos Ferreira, Julio Cesar Marques and Sandro Batista made the 8 for the Outlaws. The Gamblers downed the New York Mavericks 340 – 173. Dener Barbosa, Andrei Scoparo, Dalton Kasel and Jose Vitor Leme 86.25 scored for the Gamblers. The Mavericks fell to 1-5.

The Missouri Thunder (3-3) edged the Nashville Stampede (2-4) 173.25 – 172.25 courtesy of qualified rides from Andrew Alvidrez and Maverick Smith. Nashville’s scores came from Alan de Souza and Cody Jesus.

Overall, the bull riders went a very strong 27-for-50 on the night.

Tonight’s games were available to fans exclusively on Fox Nation, which will carry the league’s remaining Friday night games through the 12-event regular season and into the championship tournament opener in Las Vegas on October 24.

The second day of Freedom Days continues Saturday Night in Sunrise, Florida, at Amerant Bank Area with competition beginning at 6:45 pm ET.
