KENNEWICK, Wash. – Saturday evening inside Kennewick, Washington’s Toyota Center was electric as day two of the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Challenger Series rolled to a close and California cowboy Andy Guzman (Oakdale, California) was victorious.

Guzman started the two-day event with a second-place finish in Round 1 on Friday night courtesy of an 81-point ride aboard Draw the Line.

Headed into Saturday’s Round 2, the 22-year-old cowboy had his sights set on Little Mike. Despite his best efforts, the powerful animal athlete won the matchup, throwing Guzman to the dirt after 6.83 seconds.

Heading into the championship round, Guzman was then paired with Brass Monkey, successfully making the 8 for 86 points, thus securing the event win.

Going 2-for-3 throughout the weekend to collect his second event win of the 2025 PBR Challenger Series season, Guzman now sits at No. 37 in the standings.

Guzman earned 126 Challenger points for his efforts in Kennewick.

Not far behind Guzman in his successful weekend, the second-place man was fellow Californian Kyle Eaton (Chico, California).

Fans inside the Toyota Center were at full volume Saturday night when Eaton’s 81-point ride score was announced after he went head-to-head aboard Fort Worth in Round 2.

Unfortunately, in the championship round, Shaboozie threw him to the dirt after 6.73 seconds.

Despite his championship round buckoff, the weekend earned the 26-year-old 95 Challenger points.

Conner Halverson (Gordon, Nebraska) secured a third-place finish after successfully riding Old Yeller for 85.5 points in the championship round.

Despite his Round 1 and 2 buckoffs, Halverson, who rides for the Missouri Thunder in the PBR Teams league, collected 54 Challenger points for his third-place finish.

Idaho native Wyatt Moulton (Fruitland, Idaho) began Saturday night in Kennewick with an unfortunate buckoff against Smerdley in Round 2 after a mere 2.38 seconds.

Looking past his Round 2 buckoff, the 21-year-old cowboy had high hopes going into the championship round. Paired with Fire In The Hole, fans were ecstatic as he made the 8, scoring 85 points and securing a fourth-place finish.

For his efforts, he collected 38 Challenger points.

Home state cowboy Justice Forsythe (Montesano, Washington) rounded out the top five for the weekend in Washington.

First placing himself on the leaderboard in Round 2, after an incredible first-place finish aboard Night Sweats for 84 points, Forsythe was ready for the championship round. However, the remainder of the night did not continue to go as smoothly.

In Saturday’s closing round, he hit the dirt early as Cool tossed him at 2.66 seconds.

For his efforts, the cowboy received 45 Challenger points.

The talented bull riders of the PBR Challenger Series will next head to Green Bay, Wisconsin, for PBR Green Bay at the Resch Center on Sept. 13.
