BELMONT PARK, N.Y. – Once again, the Florida Freedom proved to be the best team in the league, going 4-for-5 on Night 2 of PBR Teams: Maverick Days to set a PBR Teams league record for most wins in a season at 20 with a dominant 344.5-83.5 showing over the Austin Gamblers for the 4-0 season sweep over the reigning champions.
Sitting at 20-5 with their ninth-straight win, Florida’s leadoff man Thiago Salgado, the MVP Race leader, rode his 19th bull of the season for a game-high 88 points on Designated Survivor.
