On the PBR Team Series...
BELMONT PARK, DAY 1
The Texas Rattlers opened strong, shutting out the Arizona Ridge Riders 84.75-0 thanks to Brady Fielder’s cool-handed 84.75 on Josey Wales.
The Austin Gamblers came in guns blazing, covering four against the Kansas City Outlaws in a 338.5-84.5 romp. Jose Vitor Leme lit up the building with the high mark, an 88.5 on Wicked In a Winning Way.
Red-hot, the Carolina Cowboys made it six straight wins, riding past the Oklahoma Wildcatters 260.5-169.5. Cooper Davis looked every bit the veteran closing with 89.5 reride on Lights Out.
And in a thriller, the Nashville Stampede edged the hometown New York Mavericks 258.5-255, anchored by Alan de Souza (87.5 on Eyes On Me) and Cody Jesus (87.5 on Bex Red Eye).
BELMONT PARK, DAY 2
Friday night turned into history night. The Florida Freedom went 4-for-5 in a 344.5-83.5 dismantling of the Austin Gamblers, sweeping the season series and setting a new record with their 20th win. Thiago Salgado (88 on Designated Survivor) notched his 19th ride of the year to keep his MVP lead.
The Carolina Cowboys kept their heater rolling with a 343.75-87 rout of New York for their seventh straight win, highlighted by Clay Guiton’s 87.5 on Washita Red. Fresh off a trade from New York, Trey Holston faced off against his old team and walked out of the dirt on top, spurring Simon for 85 — a statement ride.
The Kansas City Outlaws finally snapped their skid, knocking off Arizona 169.5-84 thanks to Koltin Hevalow (85.25 on Hoka Hey) and newcomer Pablo Soares (84.25 on Squealin’ Kitty).
The Texas Rattlers squeaked past Missouri 86.75-85.75 in a one-ride slugfest, Brady Fielder once again clutch with 86.75 on Big Red Train.
Closing the night, the Oklahoma Wildcatters downed Nashville 172.5-86.75 as Josh Frost (85.5 on War Paint) and Kase Hitt (87 on Nasubi) sealed the deal.
BELMONT PARK, DAY 3
Saturday saved the wildest for last. The New York Mavericks shocked the PBR world, stunning the No. 1 Florida Freedom 346-177 in what’s being called the biggest upset in league history. With four scores, the Mavericks claimed their first-ever four-ride win, led by Bob Mitchell (87.5 on Say When) and ending Florida’s nine-game streak.
Earlier, the Austin Gamblers blanked Nashville 261.5-0 behind Sage Steele Kimzey (88.5 on Blue Duck) and Kaique Pacheco (87.5 on Hoobastank).
The Missouri Thunder topped in-state rivals Kansas City 171-87.75, boosted by Paulo Eduardo Rossetto (83.5 on Grey Fox) and Maverick Smith (87.5 on DirtyBru).
The Oklahoma Wildcatters pulled off another surprise, upsetting Arizona 254.5-169.75 behind Josh Frost (86 on Rank Hank) and Guilherme Valleiras (84.25 on Creek).
And the Texas Rattlers capped a perfect 3-0 weekend with a 176.5-81.25 victory over Carolina, as MVP contender Brady Fielder delivered the knockout punch with 89.5 on Lights Out.

On the Challenger Series...
Michael Lane (Tazewell, Virginia) thrilled fans in Charlottesville, winning his second Challenger event of 2025 with an 82.5-point Round 1 ride on Jungle Cat and an 86-point championship-round effort on Pneu Dart’s Gold Standard. He collected 136 Challenger points to climb to No. 31 in the standings.
Dalton Dwyer (83 on Radical Dude) finished second, while Lane also claimed third with his second entry. Gabriel Honorato (79.5 on Bone Digger) and defending champ Matt Allgood (58.5 on Banana Slide) rounded out the Top 5.
The Challenger Series next heads to Las Vegas for the Challenger Series Championship at the South Point Arena, Oct. 22-23.
North of the Border...
Marks stunned his hometown crowd at his own event, Buckin’ At The Brook, riding his former bull Glamorama for 84 points and a third-place finish. With 80.33 points banked in his first two events back, he sits within reach of Finals contention.
