TUCSON, Ariz. – When the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) returns to Tucson, fans can once again expect the electrifying energy and edge-of-your-seat action that has made the sport’s annual visit a local favorite.

Top bull riders in the sport will set their sights on Tucson, battling for crucial Velocity Global points on the line at the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour (PWVT) PBR Tucson, Dec. 19-20, 2025, inside Tucson Arena.

Velocity Global points contribute to the Velocity Global Standings and determine which riders earn berths on the premier Unleash The Beast tour throughout the season, as well as qualifications for the PBR World Finals in May 2026.

In 2024, when the Unleash The Beast tour visited Tucson for the 2025 season launch, then-19-year-old sensation John Crimber (Decatur, Texas) delivered a 92.5-point ride on Ricky Vaughn to clinch the PBR Tucson title. Crimber went on to cap a red-hot season, finishing No. 4 in the world standings.

The two-day PWVT event will feature the rankest bulls in the sport matched against the league’s top riders, each determined to punch their ticket to the PWVT Finals in May 2026. Action begins at 8 p.m. MT on Friday, Dec. 19, and continues at 7 p.m. MT on Saturday, Dec. 20.
