Key Storylines...
Friday night opens with a rivalry that’s become the stuff of PBR legend. Andrew Alvidrez once hit his career high aboard Man Hater, marked at 94 points — the lone ride in a series otherwise dominated by the bull. The legendary bovine has bucked off Alvidrez four times and built a reputation as one of the rankest and most feared outs in the game, setting the stage for another chapter in their saga.
The Oklahoma Wildcatters limp into Fort Worth after injuries to key riders, including Cort McFadden, forced them into five roster moves this week. The shakeup has fans joking that even J.B. Mauney might have to pull out the old bull rope and come out of retirement. Dickies will be center stage to see what the newcomers will bring for OK.
For the New York Mavericks, this weekend marks the debut of Julio Cesar Marques in blue after a headline-grabbing trade from Kansas City. The KC staple brings rank bull experience and veteran poise to a team that just pulled off the biggest upset in PBR Teams history, looking to add steadiness to their record-setting surge.
The Carolina Cowboys look to keep rolling with Daylon Swearingen still on the sidelines with a head injury taking a bonk from a bull in Anaheim. His absence will put the spotlight on Cooper Davis, who went 3-for-3 last weekend, hitting his slump buster under the big lights of the Big Apple. With his back no longer slowing him down, Davis looks to carry that momentum into Fort Worth.
