GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Professional Bull Riders (PBR) is set to make its seventh appearance all-time in Greenville for the 13th stop of the 2025-26 Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour at Bon Secours Wellness Arena Jan. 30-31, 2026.

It marks the sixth consecutive year the Velocity Tour will be visiting the city showcasing the world’s best bull riders looking to survive the most exciting and dangerous 8 seconds in sports.

In 2025 Afonso Quintino, a 28-year-old cowboy, won the Greenville buckle by a full ride with 170 points, beating out Carlos Garcia (85) and Brandon Ballard (84.5). Quintino went on to qualify for the PBR World Finals after finishing second in the Velocity Tour standings with 763 points.

Back in 2024, Ezekiel Mitchell, a rider in the separate PBR Teams Series now riding for the 2023 World Champion Texas Rattlers, went 3-for-3 to win the event with 256 points.

Over the course of the two-day event the last weekend of January, 40 top riders will appear in the initial round before cutting down to 36 riders for round two, taking on some of the sport’s toughest bulls. After two rounds, the top 10 riders with the highest aggregate scores ride for a chance at the event title.

The riders will battle it out for crucial Velocity points, which contribute to the Velocity Global Standings and determine who qualifies for the season-ending Velocity Tour Finals in Corpus Christi, Texas the first week of May 2026. In addition to a VT Championship, the Top 3 Velocity Finals riders not already qualified for PBR World Finals earn the right to compete at the World Championship event the second week in May 2026.

The two-day event at Bon Secours Wellness Arena featuring riders determined to punch their ticket to the PWVT Finals in May 2026 begins on Friday Jan. 30 at 8 p.m. ET and Saturday Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. ET.
