“I wanted to encourage kids to believe in themselves,” Paige said. “Too often we’re afraid of failing and don’t chase our dreams. But we can accomplish those dreams by discovering and displaying what makes each of us special.”
In that story, a little girl named Oakley and her Clydesdale face doubts and initial failure. But their resilient partnership brings a very happy ending.
Murray studied animal science at Clemson University with a concentration in equine business and had always loved to write.
Her second children’s book is more than just a story—it’s an invitation to talk with your children about bravery, kindness, and facing life’s challenges head-on. And because it is rooted in real experiences, it carries a depth and honesty that children will feel and parents will appreciate.
