CBS GAMES OF THE WEEK SPOTLIGHT:

Sunday’s CBS Games of the Week highlight two must-watch showdowns: the Missouri Thunder vs. Kansas City Outlaws and the Nashville Stampede vs. Austin Gamblers.

The Missouri Thunder, led by Andrew Alvidrez and Boudreaux Campbell, look to gain ground in the standings as they face their regional rival Outlaws. Kansas City, fueled by hometown talents Koltin Hevalow and Natanael Serra Aires, has been clawing to escape the bottom tier. The rivalry spotlight adds pressure as both teams aim to finish strong before Vegas.

In the second feature, the Austin Gamblers bring their star-studded roster of Dalton Kasel, Kaique Pacheco, and Sage Steele Kimzey against a Nashville squad fresh off upsetting the No. 1 Florida Freedom in Fort Worth. The Stampede, powered by Kaiden Loud, Alan de Souza, and Cody Jesus, will look to ride that momentum in Kansas City, while Austin sits just one game back of Florida for the No. 1 seed and looks to keep its championship defense alive.

STRUGGLING SQUAD

The Oklahoma Wildcatters (10-19) limp into Kansas City after another tough stretch, still searching for rhythm as the postseason looms. Depth has been a problem all season, with injuries and roster churn keeping the Wildcatters from building momentum. Tate Pollmeier and Landon “Pokey” Houghton have been bright spots, while JaCauy Hale continues to show flashes of promise. But with three matchups on the slate at Outlaw Days, Oklahoma faces another uphill climb in its bid to stay alive in the playoff race.

PRCA RETURN

With the PRCA regular season concluded, two of the sport’s brightest rookies rejoin PBR Teams competition. Qynn Andersen returns for the Texas Rattlers, ranked No. 2 in the PRCA rookie standings, while Hudson Bolton, fresh off a 92-point ride and leading the Rookie of the Year race, makes his PBR Teams debut for the New York Mavericks. The pair will go head-to-head in Kansas City, adding extra intrigue to an already high-stakes weekend.

REMATCH RECAP

Kansas City offers a slate of rider-bull reunions sure to shape the weekend’s results. JaCauy Hale gets another chance at Snap Chatter, whom he topped for 87.5 points in April, while teammate Kaiden Loud is set for a rematch with Always Been Crazy, a bull he rode last season for 83.75. The Texas Rattlers’ Brady Fielder will again face Constant Payne, who bucked him off in January. The Mavericks’ Leonardo Castro draws Red Bull for the second time after an 86-point ride last October, while Mauricio Gulla Moreira looks to remain perfect against Doze You Down, whom he conquered for 88.5 in Anaheim. For Arizona, Eduardo Aparecido rematches El Chapo after combining for 86.75 earlier this year, and Everton Natan da Silva attempts to solve Smokey, who has bucked him off twice in 2025. Meanwhile, Andrew Alvidrez seeks revenge against Tchoupitoulas after a February buckoff in 3.94 seconds, and Dener Barbosa looks to continue his success against Rock ’n Roll after an 84-point ride in 2024. Rounding out the slate, Carolina’s Clay Guiton will try once more to solve Snuggles after two prior buckoffs, while Derek Kolbaba draws Strapper, the bull he topped for 86.75 during Cowboy Days.

With playoff positioning tightening and rivalry storylines colliding, Outlaw Days promises to deliver high drama inside Kansas City’s T-Mobile Center.
