The lights are bright, the stakes are high, and the buckle is on the line. Ten teams enter Las Vegas, but only one will leave as the 2025 PBR Teams Champion.

FINAL PUSH FOR THE BUCKLE
The road to the 2025 Teams Championship features a bracket-style format unlike any other — complete with three-way play-ins, last-chance games and no easy routes to victory.

The Championship bracket begins Friday night with the first three-way play-in game between the No. 8 Kansas City Outlaws, No. 9 Oklahoma Wildcatters and No. 10 New York Mavericks, battling for a chance to advance later that night. The No. 4 Arizona Ridge Riders and No. 7 Missouri Thunder will face off, while the No. 5 Carolina Cowboys and No. 6 Nashville Stampede go head-to-head for quarterfinal spots.

The losers of those games will then play the winner of the first three-way matchup in a last-chance game to move on to the quarterfinals. The winner of that game will face the top-seeded Florida Freedom on Saturday, while the No. 3 Texas Rattlers will take on the winner of the 4/7 matchup and the No. 2 Austin Gamblers will battle the winner of the 5/6 contest. The losers of Saturday’s opening three games will enter one final three-way last-chance round to fight their way into the semifinals on Sunday.

No other sport offers not just one, but two opportunities to climb back into contention — a bracket built for chaos, redemption and champions.

MOMENTUM WATCH
The Florida Freedom (25-10) arrive in Las Vegas as the top seed after one of the most dominant seasons in league history — but don’t count out the resurgent Kansas City Outlaws. For the first time in months, both world champion Cassio Dias, and Sandro Batista are healthy and back in the lineup. Assistant coach Guilherme Marchi could hardly contain his excitement — it’s the same squad that started the season red hot with a perfect 3-0 weekend at the PBR Teams season opener. Now, as the Outlaws return to full strength under the Vegas lights, the question is whether they can end the year the same way they began it.

REMATCH RECAP
Several high-stakes rematches highlight Friday night’s opening slate at T-Mobile Arena. In Game 1, Koltin Hevalow looks to repeat his success against Buck, having ridden the bull for 86.75 points during Gambler Days in August. Teammate Eric Henrique Domingos also has confidence heading in after covering Tchoupitoulas for 87.5 points at Rattler Days.

For the Oklahoma Wildcatters, Guilherme Valleiras aims to stay perfect against Yo Mamma, whom he’s ridden twice this season — once in Austin and again in Springfield. Mauricio Gulla Moreira also gets another shot at Stryker, who dispatched him in 5.73 seconds earlier this year in Nashville.

In Game 2, Eduardo Aparecido faces Margin of Error once again, after being bucked off in 5.39 seconds during Stampede Days in August, while Andrew Alvidrez will look to settle the score with The Paint, who got the better of him in Austin during Gambler Days.

Meanwhile, Cooper Davis will try to stay perfect against High Caliber, having ridden the bull for 89.5 points in the season opener in Oklahoma City. Daniel Feitosa has the edge over Toad after an 86.25-point score during Rattler Days, while Kaiden Loud seeks his first qualified ride aboard Blue Duck, who bucked him off in 7.46 seconds earlier this year in Kansas City. Derek Kolbaba and July have split two previous meetings, with Kolbaba earning 87.25 points in Anaheim in their most recent showdown.

THE FINAL DIRT
Ten teams. Three days. One champion. The 2025 PBR Teams Championship will determine who rides into history as the fourth-ever winner of the league’s coveted buckle.
