KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A wild slate of bull riding games in Kansas City proved that on any given night, any team in the PBR Camping World Team Series can ride away with a win.
On Saturday night at T-Mobile Center, the No. 9 Oklahoma Wildcatters upset the No. 1 Florida Freedom, 255-176, while the No. 7 Nashville Stampede went 4-for-5 to down the No. 2 Austin Gamblers.
The Wildcatters’ win was highlighted by Josh Frost’s 92.5-point ride aboard two-time World Champion Bull Man Hater– Frost’s second-highest score in PBR sanctioned events and his best in PBR Teams competition.
JaCauy Hale (78.25) and Eduardo Matos (84.25) flanked Frost, while Florida’s Yan Victor Cunha (87) and John Crimber (89) converted during respective re-ride attempts as the Freedom fell to 23-8 on the season, albeit still atop the league standings, two games ahead of Austin.
Storming into Game 4 with a flurry, the Nashville Stampede recorded qualified rides during three of the team’s first four opportunities, going 4-for-5 overall to beat the No. 2 Austin Gamblers, 348.75-256.5. Alan de Souza (86), Daniel Feitosa (85), Gustavo Luiz da Silva (88.5) and Kaiden Loud (89) each went the distance to give Nashville their third straight victory. Sage Steele Kimzey (84.5), Lucas Divino (84.75) and Dalton Kasel (87.25) converted for Austin. Nashville improved to 12-19, while the Gamblers fell to 21-10.
The hometown Kansas City Outlaws defeated their in-state rival Missouri Thunder 171.5-0 Saturday night during the second night of competition inside T-Mobile Center to earn their first win of the weekend and conclude the Show Me State Showdown series at 2-2 this season. Kansas City parlayed qualified rides from Pablo Soares (88.5) and Natanael Serra Aires (83) into the Outlaws’ 11th win of the year as the orange and black unit improved to 11-20 in 2025.
Kansas City looks to put on another show Sunday afternoon when the three-day homestand – the 11th event of the 2025 Teams regular season – comes to a close during a showdown against the No. 4 Texas Rattlers.
The Arizona Ridge Riders defeated the Texas Rattlers 174.25-86.25 during Saturday’s opening game en route to surpassing Texas in the PBR Camping World Team Series standings and claiming the No. 3 rank. The top three teams at the end of the regular season will receive a first-round bye at the 2025 PBR Teams Championship.
Five teams remain eligible to earn one of three coveted bye sessions ahead of Sunday’s PBR Teams: Outlaw Days finale, including the Florida Freedom, Austin Gamblers, Arizona Ridge Riders, Texas Rattlers and Carolina Cowboys.
Riquelme Santos provided an early strike for Arizona, scoring 86.75 points as the Ridge Riders’ lead-off man following a rare buckoff from the Rattlers’ Brady Fielder. Daniel Keeping evened the ride score count at one per side moments later, albeit coming in half a point short at 86.25. Taking advantage of a re-ride, veteran Eduardo Aparecido extended Arizona’s lead courtesy of an 87.25-pointer, which served as the game’s final conversion.
Originally scoring 79.25 points during the opening out of Game 2, Bob Mitchell doubled down in sincere fashion by recording an 87.75-pointer during his re-ride journey aboard Buck to get the New York Mavericks on the board. However, the red-hot Cowboys came to ride, as Adriano Salgado (86), Clay Guiton (80.25) and Jess Lockwood (89.5) converted in the two, three and four spots, respectively, to deliver the Cowboys’ 11th win in their last 13 games via a 255.75-87.75 final.
The Cowboys improved to 6-1 all-time against the Mavericks while remaining in contention for a Top 3 rank ahead of the 2025 PBR Teams Championship. Carolina is now on a three-game winning streak heading into Sunday’s final slate inside T-Mobile Center.
The third and final slate of Outlaw Days competition begins at 11:15 a.m. CT at T-Mobile Center Sunday, October 5.
