ALBANY, N.Y. – Making his PBR (Professional Bull Riders) debut, Lane Vaughan won the PBR Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour stop in Albany on Saturday night after being the lone rider to conquer all three bulls he saw in MVP Arena.
Vaughan rode Organize Chaos in the opening round on Friday for 86.70 points before besting Radical Dude in the next for 85.20 points. Only two riders, Vaughan and Miguel de Jesus, were able to ride both bulls heading into the final round. Vaughan took home the buckle with an 80-point ride on Workin’ Man. With the win, the 20-year-old Oregonian earned 153 points in the Velocity Tour Global Standings.

Elijah Jennings bested First Class Friday night for 82.30 points to sit third after the first round. He was unable to tally a ride in the second long round but jumped into the runner-up position with the highest score of the Championship Round with 85 points atop Gunsmoke. He earned 95 points in the standings.
Trey Holston rounded out the podium in third after riding Lala Land in Saturday’s second round for 82.90 points before scoring 84 points on Phe Phe in the Championship Round. He earned 71 points in the standings.
Miguel de Jesus came in fourth, good for 49 points, putting up rides of 80.8 and 81.10 points before being shut out in the Championship Round.
With an 85.7-point Round 1 score, Ezekiel Mitchell rounded out the top five to take 35 points in the standings.
Next up on the Velocity Tour is BeatBox PBR Tucson Dec. 19–20 starting at 8 p.m. MT Friday night and 7 p.m. MT Saturday night.
