CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - Professional Bull Riders (PBR) is bringing the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour Finals back to Corpus Christi for the fifth time in history to showcase some of the best bull riders in the world. America’s original extreme sport will storm into Hilliard Center May 1-2, 2026 with Carly Pearce and Larry the Cable Guy headlining the two-night concert lineup.
Carly Pearce, a GRAMMY®, CMA, ACM and CMT Award-winning country star, will perform Friday night after the opening round of the Finals. On Saturday night legendary stand-up comedian, Larry the Cable Guy, will perform live after the finale to bring his award-winning comedy to spectators after a Velocity Tour Champion is crowned. The two-night performance will mark the initial time the Finals has hosted a concert in addition to the bull riding.
Over the two-day event in May, 44 of the sport’s top qualifying riders - who will have traveled coast to coast and competed in 25 events throughout the season - will advance to two full rounds taking on some of the toughest bulls in the sport. After two rounds, the top 10 riders with the highest aggregate scores attempt one final bull for a chance at the event title.
At the Velocity Tour Finals, one rider will be crowned the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour Champion, and five riders not already qualified for PBR World Finals will earn coveted spots to the marquee event beginning May 7 at Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas.
Paulo Eduardo Rossetto won the Velocity Tour Finals in 2025 with qualified rides on Sizmagraf (84.5), Sweet John(82.25), and Dough Boy (86.25). He was one of three riders to go 3-for-3.
Marcus Mast was named the 2025 Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour Champion after earning 775.5 points throughout the season, besting Afonso Quintino (763 points) and Bob Mitchell (723.83 points).
The two-day event at Hilliard Center featuring some of the best riders in the world begins on Friday, May 1 at 7:30 p.m. CT and Saturday, May 2 at 7:30 p.m. CT.
The Velocity Tour has emerged over the past decade as PBR’s fastest-growing tour, experiencing strong attendance growth and reaching fans in 97 cities across the U.S. In 2025, the Velocity Tour hosted more than 370,000 fans, including selling out 18 event days.
