TULSA, Okla. –After two action-packed nights in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Andy Guzman (Oakdale, California) was victorious - securing his first event win of the 2026 PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour (PWVT) season.

The 22-year-old first put himself on the leaderboard in the opening round Friday night after securing the Round 1 win with an impressive 88-point ride aboard Geralt.

Keeping the same momentum going as he entered Saturday night’s second round aboard Deranged Kid, he burst from the chutes in complete control for an 87.25-point score, and second place win in the round.

Heading into the championship round, Guzman was laser-focused to make the eight aboard Dang, Dang. Once again, he made the whistle with an 85.50-point score, securing the event win at the BOK Center.

For his perfect 3-for-3 weekend, Guzman netted 144 Velocity Global points and moved to No. 7 in the Velocity standings.

Velocity Global points contribute to the Velocity Global Standings and determine which new riders are added to the elite Unleash The Beast throughout the season. The Top 3 Velocity Global riders who have not already qualified are also invited to the PBR World Finals in May.

Home state cowboy Wyatt Rogers (Hulbert, Oklahoma) claimed second place for the weekend after also going 3-for-3.

Paired with Big Easy in Round 1, the animal athlete was no match for Rogers, scoring 84.10 points, he placed sixth in the round.

Early on Saturday he was paired with Ah Hell which resulted in an impressive 82.90-point ride that moved Rogers into the championship round.

Entering the final round for the weekend, the 29-year-old launched from the chutes aboard Smack Ya, resulting in another 8-second ride and 86.40 points.

For his efforts, he collected 103 Velocity Global points and is now the No. 1 man in the Velocity standings.

Guilherme Valleiras (Pirassununga, Brazil) captured third place in Tulsa.

After conquering his Round 1 matchup against Max Bet, turning in an 87.10-point ride, Valleiras secured third place for the opening round on Friday.

With a determined look, the 24-year-old cowboy, who rides for the Oklahoma Wildcatters in the separate PBR Teams league conquered his Round 2 matchup against Mesquite Heat turning in an 84.65-point ride and securing sixth in the round.

Despite his best efforts as the weekend rolled to a close in the final round, Koo Koo won their matchup, throwing Valleiras to the dirt after 2.59 seconds.

For his 2-for-3 finish, Valleiras earned 67 Velocity Global points.

Oklahoma cowboy Zane Cook (Fort Gibson, Oklahoma) finished fourth for the weekend.

In Round 1, he successfully rode Dr. Pepper Man for an 87.85-point score and second place in the round.

In the opening round on Saturday evening, he was paired with Sizmagraf, where unfortunately, the powerful bovine threw him to the dirt after 4.67 seconds.

Despite his Round 2 buckoff, he soared into the championship round.

Setting his sights towards the final round, he geared up for his match with Long Gone, where to the Oklahoma crowd’s dismay, the athletic animal won the match up, throwing Cook to the dirt after only 2 seconds.

Cook collected 39 Velocity Global points and now sits at No. 28 in the Velocity standings.

Rounding out the Top 5 at the BOK Center after conquering two of his three matchups, was Vinicius Rodrigues Pereira (Itapagipe, Brazil).

In Round 1, he launched from the chutes aboard Talking Cursive, however the bull threw the 28-year-old to the dirt in a mere 2.5 seconds.

Pereira was paired with Kephart’s Solomon for Round 2. As Oklahoma fans cheered, Pereira made quick work of his bovine partner scoring 87.65 points.

Focused on keeping the momentum, he was paired with Poker Chip in the championship round. Clinging to his bovine partner, he fell short – hitting the dirt after 2.97 seconds.

For his weekend in Tulsa, Pereira earned 45 Velocity Global points and now sits at No. 8 in the standings.

The talented bull riders of the PWVT will next head to Greenville, South Carolina, for PBR Greenville at Bon Secours Wellness Arena Jan. 30-31. In a double-up weekend, the PWVT will also be in Nampa, Idaho, for the PBR Nampa at the Ford Idaho Center on Jan. 30-31.
